Title: connecting to ps2 online thru college ethernet?

im a college student.. got the adapter and all... i think i set it up right... the connection test is always successful, but when i try to register on madden, it says its not responding... was the madden server really down (i tried it several times over a span of different times) or is there something i need to know about connecting thru the university ethernet?

U need to know if the network admin has a firewall up and on what ports/protocol madden connects.

did a quick search on google and found these ports must be opened if yer having problems

10070-10080

sorry... so which spaces do i gotta fill? like the IP address, netmask, DNS, etc?

U need to talk to ur admin about that.  He\'s the only one who\'d know.

I am having this exact same problem and was wondering if you all had figured out how to fix it.
