I am not sure if this has been done before.. sorry if it has. What are you looking forward to the most. As for me I am looking more forward to the latter. GTA 3 got old to me and it didn\'t seem to have enough fun in the missions. I just go around shooting and driving. I think the Getaway could be very promising, but like all things it can look promising and them end up failing.

I\'m getting both!
This should be in the main forum btw.

You can buy GTAVC for 15 bucs at EB if you trade in your old GTA3. Sounds like a sweet deal to me if you aren\'t ever going to play GTA3 anyway.
-
Yeah but would vice city just become the way gta3 did?
-
They Getaway is a strictly mission based game, Vice City lets you roam around freely in addition to the missions.
Vice City is a much bigger game than GTA3, so the replay value should be even higher than before IMO.
-
I want a more mission based game though.

You can roam in The Getaway if the mission your on isn\'t time sensitive. And I can\'t wait to rip it up in a city thats 8 times bigger than Vice City roll on December 6th.
I\'m looking forward to The Getaway more I tried to play GTA3 today but I just can\'t do it anymore it\'s just plain boring.

Hmm.. If I can only choose one.. Vice City.
Of course Im buying both though :p
-
ill be getting both, but im think ill be less let down by gtavc, as ive got gta3 and kinda know what to expect...... unlike the get away... been waiting like... 2 years for it
-
Make.. thank god someone else thinks this game is boring also. Tell them people on my boards that! I have a thread in general chat there and they won\'t listen lol
-
saying that, i know someone whos played a demo of it, works for computer shop thing, and went to so some thing.. said its very cool, the get away that is, very good graphics, runs smooth et ctec

This one is easy. Both. Besides The getaway looks more like Mafia a mission based game. VC if like the last will be wide open. Two different games.

I saw Mafia played on tv, it doesn\'t look like a must have at all. It may be ok but I won\'t get it.
-
Getaway looks like it\'s coming out crap, Vice City looks much more interesting and fun.
-
I\'m going to get both. GTA:VC looks like it is expanding everything that make GTA3 great. The Getaway appears to have a lot going for it. Plus, with some positive previews (the more recent ones after the E3 demo) sounds like it will also be a winner. Besides, The Getaway isn\'t expected to come out this fall anyways. So, GTA:VC first, then The Getaway second.
-
I would rather get Shenmue 2 than either if you want the truth.

The Getaway for me. Supposedly it\'s written like a script to a Brit mobster filck, which I am very much looking forward to. Though if I\'ve heard right, GTAVC will be out well before TG.
