I’m loving BF42 right now.. Its the best multiplayer game on the PC.
Oh and don’t forget to download the bloodpatch.. Makes it alot easier to see if you\'re hitting the enemy. You can also get the "Real flag" patch where the Germans and Japanese get their correct flags.

jiggs: It seems to be a little buggy right now (sometimes it finds your name, sometimes it doesn’t.). Its a pretty new site and not very stable yet.
22040 players are logged right now though.
Oh and I forgot to say, thanks for helping me with my computer. I figured out what it was.. My old soundcard. :sleepy:

I just saw BFStats has updated their site.
They now track how many medals you\'ve won. They also added which map you\'ve played the most and what servers you play on the most.
Its a great site, but I wonder how they can track everybody. They got to be sponsored by DICE in some way (considering they\'re both Swedish)

Oh and what do you think of the 1.2 patch? Game runs much better now.. No more annoying hickups (checked the framerate and its between 50-70fps most of the time). The hit detection seems improved also and the grenades does not hut the tanks as much as before :)

I mostly dont play public anymore, only clan matches and pracs.
But as for 1.2 Im happy with some stuff and unhappy with other stuff hehe.
Positive changes:
-Tiger is a beast now, it is a feared tank, in 1.1 it was just "another" tank
-Grenades do less dmg against tanks
-MG is hugely improved, now u can actually use it effectively
-B17 carpet bombing is even deadlier now
Negative changes:
-Planes are now made in paper. Even a assault can shoot down a plane now, thats just lame. I talked to some of the peeps from DICE, and they agreed that the planes armor was just too low now, so lets hope they will improve the planes back to what they was.
Also because of this, dogfighting is kinda screwed now. Too easy to shoot down other planes, this should also be as it was before, engine hits do more dmg then other parts of plane. Now every hit is as a engine hit.
But all in all Im happy with 1.2 It have improved the game a lot, I still have 99fps ingame, so they didnt screw that up (as I heard rumours about). Lets hope they keep up the good work :)

Yes its very fun.. One of the best multiplayer games available right now.
What I love about this game is the teamwork (if you’re lucky enough to find a good server with nice people who are willing to fight as a team its great).
As the army says, there is no I in team ;)
