What job would be a good part time job for me to get? Anyone with suggestions.
-
If you enjoy computer games maybe you could get one in a games shop. Also this may entitle you to staff discount on games.
It beats flipping burgers anyway.:)
-
It is too bad all of them are too far away. I might could settle for an electronic job at wal mart though.
-
Performing sexual favors on old guys is quite lucrative. Or so I hear.
-
Be a sperm donor, pays good money and you get job satisfaction every time.
-
He sperm donor.

Any job, as long as you get money... I\'m 18 and I\'ve never had a job in my life. :shrugs:

Rich Family?

You can say that... :(
We\'re in a bit of a financial difficulty recently though, that\'s why I still haven\'t gone broadband.

I\'ve been working off and on since I was thirteen. I helped my mother with a paper route until I was sixteen. Took two years off, went back to work at eighteen. I worked in the Bindery department of R&R Donnley, and then moved over to the press department of the factory. I\'m currently a \'material handler\' for Press 876 (we do UV Covers for magazines). Within the next eight months or so I should be training for RT though, that is if I stay there. I am considering goin\' back to school and getting a desk job. Not quite sure yet though.
Anyways, onto your question. The simple answer is, any job will suffice. Why? Because any job you get , you will hate and love. It will have it\'s good days and it will have it\'s bad days. Just pick a job that works with your schedule and for the reasonable amount of money you need / want. Don\'t expect to land a job you enjoy. They don\'t exist. Conformity exists and that is what work is all about, conforming.

Your GF\'s gotta be pretty expensive, too.

Worked since I was 15. Worked through college. Damn, I need a break.
Go work at a book store or something.
Or go work for McDonalds and tell them how much you\'d like to display ads for McDonalds over at the Burger King across the street.
You\'ve had lots of practice with advertising your forum.

Hey serrano I didn\'t know you had a bimmer, what series?
-
It doesn\'t matter where you work at.. like they said above - Money is Money.. and at this point it\'s doubtful you\'ll find a job you like, let alone enjoy. Work Sucks.. period. Anyhow, just find a place where you\'re employer doesn\'t walk all over you (rare) and that pays enough for you to give up 8 to 10 hours of your day for. Besides, you never know what kinda job you\'ll end up likeing when you\'re actually out there and doing it.
Strangely enough, the job I enjoyed the most was a job most people would hate. I was working at Maple Leaf Farms.. a meat factory. Yeah, it stunk.. was over-run by illegal immigrants.. was hard work for little pay.. was 32 to -35 digrees average.. and I had to work with dead animal carcasses.. but I had a lot of fun there. Well, not so much fun.. but I actually took pride in the job I did and that means a lot to me. I\'d end up going in and busting my ass for 8 to 12 hours a day doing everything from pushing half ton tubs of meat around on floors covered in fat and grease to filling out tons of confusing HACCP (gov\'t) paperwork for every little thing I did.. but at the end of the day on the drive home that rush of accomplishment and pride was something I haven\'t found working anywhere else... and made it all worth while.

I don\'t think he has a BMW... If I remember correctly, he drives a Lexus.
-
Yeah he bought the Lexus from his mum I think.
-
we went and test drove BMWs yesterday. I think we are going to get a 5 series. Not sure if I am getting an 01 or an 00 right now though. Gotta a couple weeks to look.

It is a lexus, but how did he buy it from mom if he has never worked in his life?
-
You should also check out the 4 door M3\'s, If you want something a little smaller. But the 5 series is a great car! good choice, im trying to convince my dad to get a M5, but he\'s leaning towards the Mercedes S class.
-
yeah, Lexus from mommy passed on to me.. I would like a BMW though. :D
-
we looked at the 3s for about 5 minutes, but it is impossible with Logan. Much cheaper so I would love to get one, but we need the space.
-
5 Series would be the perfect choice for you.
Right now, I dont have to worry about a kid.....
*calls GF to doublecheck*
Yes I dont have to worry about a kid..so a 3series is perfect for me!
:D
just added a exhaust and intake this last weekend
-
what did it give you HP wise? I\'m kind of concerned cause I am looking at the 530 as opposed to the 540. The acceleration isn\'t huge though on the 530. Pretty easy to hop up or will I be depressed. I gots to remember it\'s a sedan, not a sports car.
-
You would be surprised how capable the 5\'s are Vid :) Im pretty sure dinan, haaman, and the others make parts for the non-M cars.
-
I\'m still thinking about waiting a couple months and saving up maybe 5-10 grand and getting the 540. I dunno yet. My car runs fine I\'m just tired of it. I wish the 3 series gave me enough room. THey sure are a heck of a lot cheaper.
Heh, I hijacked this worthless thread.
-
Jeez Vid, I wish I had your kind of concerns... hmm, a BMW 530 or 540? I CANNOT DECIDE!!! :crying:
Poor you. :)
