Title: Too many stickys?
Post by: Jerchel on October 19, 2002, 02:38:16 PM: I feel when there is too many it takes away from posting somewhat. Some people see it as the place not getting a new post then they may leave. I am just saying this from experinces I have had my self. Not that people shouldn\'t know what stickys are or anything. I just find too many annoying. What do some of you think>?

Post by: IronFist on October 19, 2002, 06:17:59 PM: I have unknowingly trained myself to not notice the stickies, so they don\'t really bother me. It usually takes me a week or so before I even see there\'s a new sticky, and by that time the thread is too large for me to even care about reading it. :) I find it annoying when a really good topic is a sticky, because I usually miss out.

Why? Because I\'m stick of overloading stickies in off topic, 3 of which are sports. You must see my point.

Again, just from experience am I saying this. People are lazier than you think...even if it\'s just to click a few extra buttons :P

The Sports forum would get some hits, but not enough to warrant its own forum. Let it stay in \'Off-Topic\', because after all, it is \'Off-Topic\'.

Being that I\'m quite lazy, I\'d probably just stick around there, and not even glance at the topics in here. If they\'re in here, I\'ll glance at other topics and post in them, too. It\'s just my mentality, I guess. Not sure if anybody else feels the same way, but that\'s how I view the situation. You\'d just lose productivity in this forum.
