Yep, it\'s that time again, it\'s time for a good ol\' WWE PPV, tonight\'s show will be stolen by HIAC. I will post winners as they happen, and we don\'t need to hear how wrestling is fake blah blah, save some face and just don\'t bother posting.
-
I\'m looking forward to this, I missed the last PPV. I must remember to set the video for Sky Sports 1 at 1am.
-
I\'ve been a fan since I was like 5, but honestly things are starting to suck bad.. It\'s either that or I have grown out of it. I\'m still interested in who\'s gonna win though, so yea. :nerd:
-
It is very good except, a) Kane a murderer b) Undertaker having an affair, for **** sake, they need to stop that.
The Hell In A Cell tonight will be great, this is going to be Brock\'s last match as champ, I can feel it in my sack.
I’ll be watching live as always, have to find a tape as well as I watch them about 50 times before the next months.
-
Well, HIAC is pretty predictable if you ask me, but yet again, they got this UK PPV "R3bellion." Originally, they were going to pit Lesnar against Edge, but 2 weeks before, they changed it to the Taker. This feud is just getting boring now.
It\'s a known fact that the Undertaker is susposevly going to take time off, to nurse his left elbow (most likely surgery) and spend time with his wife, because she is in labor with his first child with her (I believe he has kids from his previous marriage).
So with that being, it would only make sense in having Lesnar retain his title with Taker taking time off, but yet again, they have a UK PPV w/ a rematch with them. So, they could script it as a fluke with Taker winning the title, then Brock regaining it in the UK.
HIAC Taker owns, because he has experience and also he produced some of the best shows out of HIAC, more towards traditional style. I just hope their real feud between the 2 doesn\'t get anyone seriously hurt, especially Brock. Brock was super pissed after Unforgiven because Taker didn\'t let him get the cover, and he was angry when Taker went to Vince with his locker room politics.
Guess Taker\'s ego permits Lesnar from progressing in the company, because it\'s really only him right now that can give Lesnar the push he needs. Beating the Rock, to me isn\'t really a big achievement. Being Taker is, and I don\'t know how many other "big" people he can verse to improve his image and his reputation.
Personally, after this PPV, I\'d love to see some RAW/Smackdown feud\'s, like with Lesnar and Bautista, or Angle/Beniot and RVD. At one point, seeing the same people with the same feuds on the shows is going to get boring.
And getting back to the current state of the WWE, did anyone read about how Vince is trying to get a shoot of a Lesnar/Lennox Lewis fight?
-
I\'ve been wanting to see Brock vs. Bautista from day one. Someone tell me when that happens and I\'ll start watching again. ;)
-
Might be a while yet, they seem to be keeping them apart. Notice how Brock left raw for smackdown and now Batista will soon be debuting on raw.
-
But that\'s logical, Angle.
See, being both shows need to be about equal, each show is now having their own heavy weight champion, their own tag team champion, their own set of entertainers, and now, their own "big things." Obviously, Bautista will be RAW\'s next big thing, and Smackdown\'s is obviously Lesnar.
I\'ll give you this much, Bautista will probably be about if not, stronger than Lesnar, being he was a professional body builder, but Lesnar has the definite edge. Even if Lesnar was not as strong as Bautista, Lesnar would have the significant advantage when it comes to flexibility, speed, agility, mobility, and the mental game. I\'ve followed Brock Lesnar in college, and he\'s held NCAA Heavyweight champion belt twice, and had a 106-5 record.
For someone Lesnar\'s size, people that big, bulky, and heavy shouldn\'t be able to move as fast as Lesnar. That\'s why it\'s unheard of when Lesnar does remarkable things.
Brock is the most natural wrestler in the WWE right now, Kurt Angle right below him. Why I say that, is because I read Kurt Angle\'s book, and he was always bouncing back and forth from football and wrestling. Brock has been wrestling since he was 4, and has had 19 years under his belt.
My breakdown, if they had a traditional match between Lesnar and Bautista, Lesnar would come out on top naturally. Otherwise if pushes are in the equation, WWE might use Lesnar to push Bautista by loosing to him.
-
I think Angle beat Lesnar in a real life friendly match up before, not sure if it was 100% true, you know how those rumor sites work..
Anyway, I didn\'t know Bautista was going Raw, that sucks man, I only get Smackdown. :(
-
If they ever had a amateur "live" match, you\'d definitely hear about that. I think each one stands an equal chance at each other, because Angle in the past has wrestled and won against people much heavier than he was.
-
5 mins, I will be posting who wins each match after the match.
-
You cant stop brock.............
-
Didn\'t do PBP for reasons out of my control...
Kane Vs HHH:Winner - HHH
Rey and Edge Vs Benoit and Angle:Winners - Benoit and Angle
Trish Vs Victoria:Winner - Trish
RVD Vs Ric Flair:Winner - RVD
Brock Vs Taker:Winner Brock - classic match but cheap ending, taker owned him and brock got a lucky f5 and won, brock kiced out of a chokeslam and last ride.
-
thanx man for the info.
-
Yeah, thanks..
Undertaker/Brock feud should be over now, if this drags on... Oh boy.
-
Forgot
Torrie Vs Dawn: Winner - Torrie
Jericho and Christian Vs Booker and Goldust:Winners Y2J and Christian. Funny shit, jericho went for the lionsalt and the rope snapped, feel on his face
-
This ppv was far from spectacular. Everyone at the show was dissapointed in HIAC b/c they didn\'t get on top. It was a very short, in fact the shortest I\'ve ever seen, HIAC match.
I can\'t stand Edge and was so happy to see Angle make him tap. Plus the guy behind me was an edge fan so that made it more fun to cheer against him.
1 Dark match Hurricane defeated Steven Richards.
RVD\'s match was so-so. His pyros are freakin LOUD.
HHH match was good.
Tajiri almost beat Jamie Noble and laid a big sloppy kiss on Nidia.
The 2nd rope actually broke during the BookerT/GDust/Y2J/Chrisitian match so Y2J had to moonsault off the top rope to win. Not bad but not real good.
-
I hope you stuck it to the Edge fan.... stuck it reeaaaalll goood.
-
Nice and bloody that HIAC match. Too short though and they never got on top.
I thought the tag team match was the best IMO, lots of high flying moves and pinning situations.
-
god damnit, I really hate them having Brock winning the cheap way. Seems as though Brock can only beat Funaki, and Spike out right.
-
They do that entirely too often now to push story lines and get people over one way or the other. What happened to hating a heel because he was too good? Brock needs to win outright...and then lose the title to RVD.
-
Brock did win outright at No Mercy. He F5-d the Taker right in the center of the ring 1-2-3. There was no interference.
-
On a side note, just downloaded the video clip of Brock doing the Shooting Star Press on someone from KaZaA yesterday. My god, he does this thing better than Billy Kidman ever has!!
-
BROCK DOES THE SHOOTING STAR?!?!?!! WTF!!!!!!111
-
He sure does, and it\'s pretty ****ing spectacular.
I think they\'re gonna save it for Wrestlemania. Or for a face run. Kinda like Kurt Angle\'s Moonsault (best moonsault ever!)
-
holy crap man, Brock is huge, and he can do that.. That is amazing!
Kurt Angle doing the moonsault didn\'t surprise me that much, I used to think that movie was really really cool but everyone can do it now..
-
Yah, but Kurt Angle does it best.
Anyone remember last years cage match between Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit (match of the year, IMO). Kurt Angle moonsault off the top of the cage
-
The Hurricane tried to save the dat for Kane...
but then he got beat up.
oh well, what can ya do?
-
I laughed my ass off when you saw HHH walk in through the door in the video pretending to be Kane
-
downloading Brocks shooting star press....will report soon....
Just watched it....Jesus tap dancing Christ!!! It was amazing, he did it perfectly, and when he landed he did a sweet kinda pose type thing. Those who have seen it know what I\'m talking about.
-
Indeed. Can\'t wait til he brings it out in a match.
He gets about as high as RVD on the frog splash!!
-
Yes the HHH/Kane clip on RAW was priceless and then the best part was watching HHH laugh about it
Yeah and Kurt gets a lot of air on his moonsault.
-
Expect to see....*spoiler*
Scott Steiner
On the next Raw. He just signed with the WWE.
Oh, and Kurt\'s moonsault=perfect. He gets so high its almost as if he\'s floating.
-
In 20 years time Kurt Angle will be known on the same level as Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. Mark my words.
:)
*doesnt know why he brought it up... just loves Kurt*
-
I saw on wwe.com that HBK wants 1 more match at Wrestlemania and then he says he\'s through.

RAW is going to be interesting now that Steiner signed on...
I didn\'t follow WCW much, or even at all. So, when I heard all this talk about Scott Steiner on wrestling sites, I decided to finally do a search of this guy. All I can say, is that he is just an iron man. That\'s it. Somewhat the case is like with Goldberg. His mic talent as well as wrestling is subpar, compared to others. I admitt, Golderg has some impressive achievements, and he has held the WCW title a long time, but if they were ever to pit Lesnar vs. Goldberg, Lesnar would definitely win. Lesnar would also win in terms of pure brute strength. I doubt Goldberg could possibly do the things Lesnar did, like his debut, when he powerbombed Spike 3 consecuative times, or F5 Rikishi, or do a back breaker to Chuck Pulumbo, and then set him up for an F5 all in the same move.
Steiner might have the edge over Lesnar in strength, because that is what Steiner is, a body builder. His flexibility is pretty limited. It isn\'t balanced. Lesnar\'s flexibility as well as strength is very impressive.
I still have a huge amount of respect for Lesnar\'s workout routine. Has anyone read that article in RAW magazine during SummerSlam what he does? His work ethic, self dicipline is right there. It\'s like the guy never gets tired. I doubt Steiner or Goldberg could run for 8 miles with a 180lb log on their shoulder. Lesnar in a nutshell doesn\'t do anything that totaly sticks out, it\'s like old fashion things he does, being he was brought up on a farm.
You know what I\'d find entertaining? Well it\'s a toss up, but if they wanted to get interesting, remember how they had Mark Henry display his "Toughest Man in the World" talents to the public, maybe the story line has room to like bring like Lesnar, Bautista, Steiner, possibly HHH to like a "show your strength" competition. It sounds corny, and I don\'t know how entertaining it might be for the viewers, but I think if people saw more than just a F5 our of Lesnar, they would really buy his strength.
-
or F5 Rikishi
His F5 to Mark Henry was better :)
-
I thought Scott Steiner had major back problems.
-
Not anymore I don\'t think, or enough to hold him from doing house shows. WWE wouldn\'t sign him and then put him on the DL right after.
Is Steiner even known for his on air talent? I never followed him.
-
yes he was, before he went to WCW he was Tag-Team Champs with his Brother Rick...then he went on his own in WCW and joined the NWO and got HUGE...he has HUGE muscles! he was called Big Poppa Pump in WCW....he had a valet called Midajah who I believe is his real wife....
