What do you consider one of the funniest moments you\'ve seen in a movie?
There are many such moments, but there are two in particular that I can think of right now:
- Naked Gun: Nordberg (O.J. Simpson) lying in a hospital bed all smashed up. Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) is talking to him. Nordberg has some information that has to do with heroin on a boat called "I Love You", but he can hardly talk.
Frank: Right. Nordberg, it\'s me, Frank.
(Nordbergs bed goes haywire when Frank sits on it.)
Frank: Nordberg, it\'s me Frank, now who did this to you?
Nordberg: I love you.
Frank: I love you too Nordberg. Who were they?
Nordberg: No. Ship. Boat.
Frank: That\'s right Nordberg, a boat. Now when you\'re better we\'ll go sailing together, on a boat, we\'ll take a cruise, just like last year.
Nordberg: No..Drugs.
Frank: Hey nurse, quick, get this man some drugs. Can\'t you see he\'s in pain? Quickly.
Nordberg: No..Heroin. Heroin, Frank.
Frank: Nordberg, that\'s a pretty tall order. You\'re gonna have to give me a couple of days on that one.
 I always smile when I think of that scene.
- Tommy Boy: Richard (Spade) is wanking because there\'s a naked girl in at pool, below his hotel room. Tommy (Farley) enters the room and surprises him in the act.
Tommy: Richard, what were you doing?
Richard: Looking over some documents.
Tommy: Well, where are they? I don\'t see them.
Richard: They\'re in my briefcase.
Tommy: How could you be looking over your documents, if they\'re in your briefcase? Hmmmmm, it\'s a mystery. Were you watching... Spanktravision? Or were you watching that funny comedian, oh what\'s his name, Buddy Wackit.
Richard: Alright then, lets get some shut eye.
Tommy: Hey, there\'s a pretty girl out there, I wonder if she goes out with one of the yankees...
Richard: Good for her.
Tommy: Richard, who was your favorite Little Rascal? Was it Alfalfa, or was it Spanky, hehehehehehe, sinner.
Anyway, these quotes may not be 100% correct. It\'s a mix of Internet quotes and what I remember. And, as always, it\'s much more fun to actually watch the scenes. :D

The scene from Wayne\'s World 2 where Garth has gone back to Miss horney\'s (Kim Basingers\'s) apartment.
Miss Horney : Can I be frank?
Garth : Can I still be Garth?
Miss Horney : Take me Garth.
Garth : Where to?
Can\'t remember much more of the script, but Garth\'s glasses get steamed up and he end\'s up floating in the air before crashing to to floor and knocking himself out.:D

When the bloke in Titanic died, classic.

"Yeah,,....Did you get the memo?"
Office Space
For some reason, the way that phrase is said and repeated through the movie, it just makes me laugh everytime and ends up stickin in my head for the next month - which drives everyone around me nuts, because I am inclined to say "Yeah....did you get the memo?" way to often.
Classic movie!

Holy cow, that scene in Tommy Boy came to mind before I read your post Sammy.
Oh and the scene where Chevy Chase goes into Bill Murray\'s little room in Caddyshack. Where he cleans up with a blower. I think that entire scene was adlibed too.
-
There\'s just sooooooooo many.
The one I thought of first was in Kung Pow.. When he was in the field and those close ups kept going over and over.. That was absolutely hilarious.

Jon Lovitz\'s Hitler scene in Rat Race in front of the World War 2 veterans.
No other scene in any movie has ever made me laugh that hard.
-
The scene in Tommy Boy where he is sitting in the diner after taking the 2x4 to the face.
-
"Hey, Richard... Do I have a mark on my face?"
"Uh no... I thought I hit you in your shoulder"
"My shoulder doesn\'t hurt, but my face does. Not here, or here so much, but right here (signaling with finger across a LARGE red mark)."
"Nope, ship shape!"
(waitress walks over)
"What do ya want?"
"I\'ll have a-"
"Jesus, what happened to your face!?"
"I knew it..."
----------------------------
Sorry if I butchered some of the dialogue but I just pulled that out of my head. I think I\'ve seen that movie, about 70 times... easily.

"YOU SUCKED 37 D|CKS?!" -Clerks
That whole transition was just \'LOL\' funny. :)
-
Haha.. the funniest part was after that scene....
(She\'s exiting the store [Dante\'s girlfriend])
Dante: "Yeah, don\'t go sucking any d|cks on your way to the parking lot!"
(Guy leaning against the wall hears this, and then follows the girlfriend)
Dante: (Talking to the guy) "Hey get back here!"
:D ! Haha... Funny shit.

I couldn\'t agree more, that was one of the funniest scenes (and movies for that matter).
"Oooh, Mrs Hitler\'s lipstick..."
I also love the squirrel scene with Whoopie and her daughter.
-
Kung pows Gopher chuck scene.. Was soo gay. But for some strange reason. It made me laugh.

The campfire fart scene in Blazing Saddles has to be one of the all time classic comedy moments.

A few of my favorites. I looked a few of them up, and I knew a few. There are tons more but these are a few of my favorites.
Austin Powers The Spy Who Shaged Me
Dr Evil: "You\'re not quite evil enough. You\'re semi-evil. You\'re quasi-evil. You\'re the margarine of evil. You\'re the Diet Coke of evil, just one calorie, not evil enough."
Almost any part with mini-me in it was hilarious to me.
Ace Ventura (This whole movie is hilarious!! Probably my all-time favorite funny movie)
Ace: "If I\'m not back in five minutes...just wait longer!"
Ace (in a scottish accent): "I just can\'t do it, captain. I don\'t have the power!"
Ace: "Eyie Capt. Stooby! Permision to come aboard sir!" (I\'m not sure about this quote, but you should know what I\'m talking about)
Con Air (I thought this was very funny)
Garland Greene: "Define irony: a bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash."
Face Off (These may not be all that funny, But they were funny to me. Plus I just love this movie)
Caster Troy: "If I were a peach... No, let me rephrase. If I were to let you suck on my tongue, would you be grateful?" (Iloved this line!)
Castor Troy: "Well, I\'ve gotta go. I\'ve got a government job to abuse, and a lonely wife to fukc" (Again, I love this line)

Lot\'s a great stupid humor moments in that movie. Great DVD :) I\'ve been a Steve Oedekerk fan ever since he did High Strung in the early 90s. Great sarcastic humor in that movie, and it\'s one of my favorites.
As for funniest moment in a movie, there are so many that I could never list them all, but a couple of favorites are:
-Steve Martin\'s Ruprict scene in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
-All of the MST3K theatrical movie release (I\'m a big MST3K fan back from when the series was just a couple of seasons old).
-A multitude of scenes from Waiting for Guffman, which was done by Christopher Guest (Nigel from Spinal Tap). Very, very funny movie.
:alien:
-
Gotta agree with Rat Races Hitler scene. Also, pretty much any scene in Monty Pythons Holy Grail.
-
Any scene from This is Spinal Tap.
Just to jog your memory.
The amp scene where Nigel Tufnell is explaining why his amps are so special because they all go up to eleven.
The scene where Derek Smalls is on stage in his cocoon, and he gets stuck inside. He only manages to get out as the song is finishing, and then he gets locked out.
The scene where Spinal Tap are doing a gig at that US airbase, where all the guests are upper class middle age toffs.
The scene where the band get lost backstage in the boiler rooms at one of thier gigs and can\'t find thier way to the stage.
The scene where they arrange for a scale model of stonehenge to be made, but the model maker confuses the scale of feet for inches, and they end up getting an 18 inch model of one of the structures. They end up having to employ midgets as the druids dancing around it.
Then there is the inability to succesfully employ and keep hold of thier drummers, they all seem to meet with unfortunate and untimely accidents.
There are many others, but I can\'t think of them off the top of my head.
Just a note to those who haven\'t seen This is Spinal Tap.
Get it watched as soon as possible, it\'s a laugh a minute, it really is.

I always especially liked the story about the drummer who choked on vomit.
"They can\'t prove who\'s vomit it was. You can\'t really dust for vomit."

From Cheech and Chongs Up in smoke.
Cheech to cop (while laughing)"I\'m sorry I was just thinking of something funny"
Cop"oh yeah,what\'s that ?"
Cheech "Your mama"
From Half baked.
"You hungry girl ?"
-
Up in Smoke "I wonder what Great Dane tastes like", "You keep on knocking but you can\'t come in"
Half Baked "I sucked dick for coke, have you ever sucked dick for marijuana?"
-
The funniest thing about that Half Baked line was that Bob Saget said it.
-
"Yeah i seen him"!:D
-
Pulp Fiction, when Vincent Vega shoots Marvin in the head. Always makes me laugh.
I\'m a sicko. - Sara
I think I love you... Seriously tho, I used to have that scene in a 70 second little blip on my computer that my cousin and I used to watch over and over and over again at full volume laughing our asses off.

Lethal Weapon 2 has a classic scene in the South African consulate where Joe Pesci tells the clerk he has a friend who wants to emigrate to South Africa.
Clerk: "Well he\'s come th the right place!"
*Danny Glover steps out from round corner*
Pesci : "Here he is now"
Clerk : "Sir, there must be some mistake"
Danny Glover : "There\'s no mistake"
Clerk : "But your Black!"
Danny Glover : "Of course I\'m black, I want to go and help my oppressed brothers!"
-
Also forgot Happy Gilmore, and pretty much any scene with Adam Sandler loosing his temper. Maybe the reason I found it so funny, is that it reminds me of myself when I was younger.
-
Wayne\'s World where he has to have his sponsor on the show. He keeps saying to his sponsor " A spincter says what?", and the guy says "what?" back to him.
-
the whole i will not bow down to any sponsor bit in ww is soooo fun
-
I\'m still waiting for a scene in Austin Powers (4 now I guess  ) where Dr. Evil and Mini Me are standing on the side of the road getting ready to go somewhere when a Shytty lil blue hatchback with flames rolls up... a map is pushed up against the window and when it comes down, Wayne and Garth are sittin there..
Garth: Exxccuuuse meh. But could you tell us how to get to....
Wayne: ......
Garth: ......
Both: AHhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Dr. Evil: Ahhhhhh!!!!
(Hatchback speeds away at full throttle leaving Dr. Evil standing there with a lost look on his face.)
Dr. Evil: WTF??!?
