Haven Media (http://mediaviewer.ign.com/ignMediaPage.jsp?channel_id=70&object_id=482177&adtag=network%3Dign%26site%3Dps2%26genre%3Dplatformviewer%26pagetype%3Darticle&page_title=A+Safe+Haven+of+Movies)

This game is revolutionary. You can travel to land sea and space. There are planets to explore.Huge enviroments.A solar system.

Its unbeleivable what they managed to create.

Enjoy.

I beleive this game could be the beginning of a new genre and a game people will remember just like what Mario64 was on the N64 in the summer of 1996.

And your opinions please:)

I don\'t have the patience to watch the movies with my 56k modem, but from the screenshots its looking very promising.

Let\'s hope the gamplay delivers what we are hoping for. :)

I did watch a lot of the movies on IGN, and I might be keeping my eye on this one. In one video there is a space dogfight between you and some other ships. In the background is this HUGE planet, and as you finish off the enemy ships you fly towards the planet, and as you get closer, things get clearer. You start to see the mountains, terrain, and eventually you land on the planet, all without any loading. Pretty cool!

If it is anything like Homeworld was for the PC, it is going to be amazing.  Games with a grand scale like that (ICO, Final Fantasy\'s, etc.) always provide for some of the  best moments in gaming.

The new PSM2 cover DVD had some vids of this game... looked pretty... well, not too good, honestly. But the scale of the whole affair does impress, several planets to explore, without any loading in between, yipe. But it does look like pretty standard platforming, bleh...

The developers say they\'re pushing the PS2 to its absolute limits, I wonder.

IMO, Haven has a good chance of being a mediocre game, and a slight chance of being something pretty darn special.

The game looks terrible, well it did on PSM2 DVD.

Traveller\'s Tales are cack going by their previous games.

Bug\'s Life
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
Mickey\'s Wild Adventure
Muppet Race Mania
Rascal
Toy Story 2
Toy Story Racer
Weakest Link, The
PlayStation2 Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex

But its not the graphics that count and I\'ll give it a chance and put it through it\'s paces with the demo thats coming with the next OPS2M-UK

They are creating a huge world. Its not like DMC2,SH3,ZOE3 etc where developers are putting all their efforts to the limited enviroments thus creating better graphics.

I agree Traveler\'s Tales hasn\'t exactly been the best, but I would love for this game to be all that it\'s being promoted as. Some of the IGN movies, especially the one already mentioned about flying from space to the planet\'s surface, look really promising.
