I do usually try to keep an eye out for new games but have not heard nothing on the sequals to these games??any info would be appreciated.
-
Is it impossible for people to write Baldurs Gate correctly?
-
seriously, if you want a really meatty action RPG that gives you alot of stuff to do, a very solid story line, and many different attacks, and combos then you want Summoner 2
Baldurs Gate was a huge dissapointment when you think of how completely shallow the overall game was after you got past the graphics
-
I know that there will be some sort of Ace Combat Online (tentativly titled) coming out in japan...no word on if it will hit our shores tho...as for baldures gate, i havn\'t heard anything about a sequal, but givin the ending of the first game, theres no doubt in my mind that there will be one eventually.

A Online BGDA (in the lines of Diablo 2) would roxxor my boxxor.
Ace Combat 5 will also be online IIRC :)
-
No-One:no not impossible just Don\'t give a flying frig.
Mobius One:Online Ace Combat, now that would kick ass.Maybe I\'ll have to import.
ddaryl:Summoner 2 eh? is it multiplayer?oh well I\'ll check it out but it has to be multiplayer.Yeah you are right about BG/DA being shallow.
Fastson:Couldn\'t agree more. With some new characters and spells.oh yeah and armour that goes past +5
-
BGDA may be a bit shallow but it\'s still 100% more fun than that crap, boring and ugly PC version of the game with the same name.
I\'m looking foward to a BGDA sequel for more mindless hacking action!!!

No its not multi-player.... You control multiple characters in ana action based RPG
BGA was extremely shallow !!!! and I will not be interested in BGDA 2 without some major upgrades to the battle system storyline etc...
I won\'t rule it out though, but MAJOR additions need to be made IMO
way to mindless hack and slash in the 1st for me. I was begging for it ot end
-
I like Baldures Gate for its hack-and-slash style gameplay. I onwned Record of Lodoss War on Dreamcast and ive never had so much fun. Baldures Gate came close to it and im hoping Baluders Gate 2 will surpass it.
-
It is shallow but damn some of those bosses on extreme take about half an hour!! The orb and the chick at the end. They need a Necromancer to. :)
-
Noteworthy: BG DA is one of the VERY FEW(or is it the only??) game that featured FSAA...the graphics just look incredibly sharp, worthy enough of a PC game!!
I wonder why more games doesn\'t have this feature.
-
I can\'t wait for Baldurs Gate 2, I completed DA like 15 times, first RPG/Hack and Slash I\'ve ever liked.
-
I want more info on when Ace Combat 5 is scheduled to be released. I\'ve serched everywhere including Namco\'s site and have found nothing.

The fixed overhead camera with the limited Horizon view made this possible
if they allowed you to control the camera, and view ahead more it would have eaten up a heluva alot more processor power.

Summoner 2 destroys BGDA IMO.... It offers 20x\'s more depth in the battle system storyline, and quests then BGDA. You should give S2 a rent
I hate to push the game, but I really believe so many people do not give Volitions Summoner series the necessary taste
BGDA however was superior in the graphics department, but like I said above BGDA had a fixed overhead camera, which is somethiing I disapprove of in any 3D game

Yeah, I was playing the other day and spun the screen 180 degrees while walking and I seen some of the worst jaggies I\'ve ever seen.Doesn\'t do it all the time,I\'ve only seen it happen once but damn it looked nasty.
