Title: Taint, or Perineum?

Today in my EMT class we got to play with the birthing dummies, and I noticed that there were two different words people used for the area between the Vagina/Scrotum and the anus, the Taint and the Perineum.  So what words do you all use for that wonderful area?

This reminds me of an episode of different strokes where Arnold was getting picked on by The Gooch who was the school bully. Mohammed Ali made a guest appearance and taught Arnold how to defend himself.

I RARELY have a chance to refer to it at all, but when I do..Taint..or "that area inbetween yer ass and XXX"

when i was younger and we found out that it was called the taint, we decided that it wasn\'t funny-sounding enough and decided to name it the "hoogie". no clue where that came from
