Post by: Unicron! on October 28, 2002, 11:06:06 AM: Man you are right.That engine is the only engine that can enable fights and visuals true to the dragonball series.Destractible scenery,free roaming enviroments,fast engaging.....and the looks.That TGS trailer of ZOE2 where Nephtis pushes Jehuty to the mountain and a blast of smoke and dust come from the impact remind perfectly of Dragonball.

Surprisingly, it looks pretty good (compared to previous DBZ games). Me being a DBZ fan, this is at least a rental.

Post by: 182Ways on October 29, 2002, 09:16:29 PM: Yes, it looks a lot cleaner in motion. By my eyes, the special effects (ki blasts, explosions, etc.) all look very well done, and the melee combat is simply incredible. I just hope it\'s not a strict button-masher.

I really hate to say it, but Infrogames DBZ game actually looks decent. My expectations for this game were low as hell... There\'s transforming mid-match, destructable enviroments, and they even have the Japanese VAs. Good show.

as dbz isnt considered good for its great animation either

but this game is adding a lot of what made the series cool so im kind of impressed

Post by: Skyrider666 on November 29, 2002, 05:09:27 PM: I think this game has been released here in Aus this week, Although it\'s called Dragonball Budokai and they all talk in japanese with english subtitles.It\'s very much like a upgraded final bout,I might have bought it (I only rented it) if it had english voices.I finished the story mode with Goku in about 3 hours,but still lots of combo\'s and stuff to unlock.The one thing that really kicks ass is the Energy attacks,they look cool.My favourite was the spirit bomb.Overall I would rate this game 7/10

Yeah that would be the case if only James Bond fans were sad 12 year olds.

the Bond franchise has fans from Both Genders (which DragonBall Z has not ) and of all ages (which DragonBall Z has not) and all backgrounds (which DragonBall Z has not).

Also the Bond films are internationally recognised again Unlike DragonBall Z.

in short more people want to live the bond life style

rather than some badly drawn "boy" called Goku or what ever the F$%& they are called.

yeah i have played it..we have it on the Playsation 2 in the games room at the Students Union at my Uni.
