Title: Jackass: The Movie
Post by: on October 26, 2002, 09:36:52 AM
So I was bored last night and decided to see the 11:45pm $4.00 showing of Jackass.

I think Jackass, and the concept behind it is utter crap.  Jackass, and its closest relative, backyard wrestling, is a perfect indicator of the state of our society, especially 15-22 year old males.  Awww crap, I forgot about Bum Fights...anyway...

Despite all that, Jackass is a guilty pleasure of mine.  Now and then they do something downright hilarious.  I should go to confessional for this.

The movie was worth $4.00, but not worth the extra cost for snacks (I didn\'t have any).   The crowd was probably 65% male - there were more females than I expected.  Everyone looked to be 16 or older.  Any parent who lets their 14 or under child see this should be beat.  By the way, it was a full house, even at 11:45.  I was entertained throughout most of it.  There were some high and low spots just like the show.

Johnny is the funniest - he has a way about him, especially when dealing with bystanders.

Steve-O is willing to do the worst stuff....except for the...uhhh...toy car.

The guy with the blondish hair and beard is also pretty gutsy.

I was ready to go when it was over.  90 minutes, or whatever, was plenty.  Stay around through the credits.  I give it 2 1/2 stars out of 4.  Even though I was entertained, it was cheap entertainment.

Well $4 is a cheap price. :)  One of the more well-to-do stadium seating theaters in the area costs $8.75.  $4 is what it costs to rent a movie lol.  Glad you liked it I hope to see it soon too.  I think Jackass is much better than Tom Green and its ripoffs.

btw- Ghost Ship is a waste of time!

I don\'t mind the series but I can\'t see myself sitting through 90 minutes of it at the cinema.

I had been looking for it on kazaa, unfortunetly so far every Jackass file is misnamed.  It\'ll turn out to be sorority boys, or sum of all fears.

Yeah....Dave England sounds familiar.  He looks to be in his mid to late 20\'s...not real thin, but not fat.  Kinda shaggy.  He did some hilarious stuff in the movie.

Bam spent a lot of time ****ing with his parents, as usual.  It\'s mean...but damn it\'s funny.  His goal was to make his mom say fukk.

There was no storyline whatsover.  I laughed a lot, and covered my eyes a couple times.

You didn\'t get the end?  Huh????  I don\'t get what you couldn\'t have gotten.  It was pretty obvious I thought.  What part are you not figuring out?

[sp]he killed his co-worker.  He then used the co-worker\'s body in the fire along with his teeth.  This made them think he was dead.[/sp] Gotta be something different you are wondering about.

how the hell did you not get the ending?  Are you mildly retarded?  What part did you not get?
