Well

thanks to Sony\'s wisdom :rolleyes: i looks like i am up plop creek with no paddle for PS2 online joy.

But

i might have a small glimmer of hope.

i know you can get a Satellite modem.
 
But

Satellite modems are expensive and with the hell hole of a area that i am in will only lead to some more un wanted attention to our Flat.

But is there any alternatives to get BB when your just within a Stones throw of both a ADSL and Cable Area ?


how much is it to get a T1 connection in ? ;)

I can\'t answer your question but I\'d like to ask another question (to anyone who can answer). Is ADSL BB? I\'ve been told it isn\'t. But answer his question first.

Echo, in the UK, ASDL is BB.

Ooseven, I hope you are rich because a T1 connection is very expensive!

ooseven, you\'ve gone without online play on consoles for years.. why would you go to such lengths just to go online now?  Don\'t waste money man.

Otherwise, just import a US PS2/NA/Games

Sattelite = LAG

a signal has to be shot into space then beamed back down. Read the fine print on any sattelite internet options and they usually will say it may no tbe useful for you if you enjoy playing alot of twitch styled online videogames

I can get ASDL I just don\'t have the money, so close yet so far...
