Title: IS my Local EB and Game store brake\'n the law ?

ok before i start i want to get one thing clear ... i know the UK launch day is Friday BUT.

Today in Glasgow both EB and Game have Priced (£39.99) boxes of GTC:VC
and are refusing to sell them.

Yup No Sign saying out tomorrow or sticker saying (launched 8/11/02).

just the usual blue sticker saying "Please reserve your copy today to avoid disapointment"

anyway my question is

I though in UK law, if you displayed a price of a product and you have that product to sell then you HAVE to sell it at that price ?

in Short ... if they didn\'t want to brake the launch day (like they did with Timesplitters 2)

why the hell are they placed a price on the GOD Damn Boxes !
