Title: Very important question
Post by: clowd on November 07, 2002, 06:27:54 PM
Is time speeding up?  Do the days seem to be going by faster?

Days go by however quickly I make them go by.

And no, I\'m not being sarcastic with that answer.

Time is what you make of it.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Time doesn\'t exist.  If you were to ask for the time, I can give it to you to the second, but by the time I tell you, it wouldn\'t matter anymore.  That number has passed and there wouldn\'t have been the point of asking me for the time in the first place.

In reletivity every day you have is a lower percentage of your life span, than the previous day.  Example; if you\'re 10 years old then 1 day is one 3650th of your life span, but if your 20 then 1 day is one 7300th of your life.

time is a measurement, that would be like asking, are centimeters getting smaller or are liters becoming larger?

It also depends on if you are doing anything to make the time pass instead of sitting on the internet typing this.

Time is a constant and doesn\'t speed up or slow down. If you are having a bad day then it seems to be going slower. If you are enjoying yourself then time seems to pass quicker. It is a trick of the mind.

Time is not constant, or at least when dealing with an AGN....but then again, that\'s a different discussion all together.
