:hat:ScottyJ:hat:
-
Yea, for like 2-3weeks now.
-
YES!
that rox, I used to run in the door from school every day to watch!
I hope they also show the movie, you know with the giant tubeworms and the "heavy water"...
BTW thw day I got my Zartan figure was one of the happiest days of my life. He changed color in the sun, and had the ultra-coolswamp buggy thing., and the backpack w/ the mask....
-
I liked the G I Joe when I was a kid.Not as much as Transformers but the toys ROCKED!!!I used to have a figure or two and a tiger skinned buggy vehicle with guns.
:( :crying: Too bad I dont have them anymore.

All of my GI Joe toys met with a cruel fate at the hands of a Vice Grip, Butane Torch, Toilet, Pliers, Fireworks, Mini-Cannons, Home-Made grenades, .38 Colt Revolver,.. the list goes on.
It\'s cool the TV show is back on the air.. SnakeEyes was always my favorite. I just hope they don\'t show anything which involved Sgt. Slaughter. I\'m still pissed at that guy for supporting Iraq in the Gulf War. Whatever happened to him anyway? Didn\'t we like.. accidentally drop a lazer guilded bomb on his livingroom durring a "routine" "Training mission" or something?

^^^
all my guys received a similar fate. One day when my dad was at work, I dipped into his stash of black powder. I filled an old-style aluminum 35mm film cannister, drilled a hole in the screw-on lid, inserted a hunk of cannon fuse (not enough cannon fuse). I then pounded a piece of pipe in the ground about 2 feet, pulled it out, and lowered the "a-bomb" in.
After assembling and posing all of the brave young men and their vehicles at ground zero, I set up the beta video camera from the public access cable show I was involved in briefly. (oh yeah....)
The bomb was WAY more powerful than I expected. (not knowing that an old-style U.S. "pineapple" grenade only has 8 oz of black powder in it...) I blew a 4-foot crater in my backyard, destroyed the video camera, and had the cops and fire department called. ( even though I lived in the country...) The neighbors thought somebody\'s house blew up.
The only cool part is that since the camera was so old, the recorder unit was seperate, and I got the whole thing....

if you are talking about what he did in the WWF...sorry WWE......that my friend is called and angle to get him over as a bad-guy........he is still around the WWE whenever two people are "fighting" he always comes out to pull them apart.....and occasionally (once a year or so) has a match......I believe he is a Road-Agent now.

Apart from the toys and cartoons there are also the comics! The comics were really awesome. They got canceled in the mid 90\'s but now they have a whole new series and it\'s also pretty good.
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are the coolest!
Astro :)

"because knowledge is half the battle...."
-
knowing is half the battle and GI Joe has been on at that time since August.
-
I knew that weed was wrecking my brain .....
-
Chizzy... you HAVE to get a TV-In card for your PC and upload the video of that to all of us here. I never got THAT elaborate.. jus simple mindless wanton destruction pacified me for the most part.
And yeah, I know wrestling isn\'t real.. but still.. that guy was an American Icon, the only real life human to ever get a part on GI Joe which was named after the nickname our soldiers had in World War II. He should have f*cking known better when he signed the contract....
-
man thats not how that shit works
its all about sales and marketing they couldnt make sgt. slaugter famous so thes made imfamous people hated him sowhich mean people had to take time out of their day to hate him which in wresting terms means he was popular
it just a way to play on people emotions and it worked if you gonna be pissed at him dont be pissed because he pretended to side with iraq be pissed cause he played your ass just like the rest of the wwf
-
jar-o\'s right. Do you think thoses dudes were expecting to be cast as homos when they signed on to the wwf?
BTW, the tape in question belonged to the cable station in Lockport, NY. Its long gone. :(
-
i think i remeber it, but for some reason i kep thinking of action man, maybe cos im ill and all drugged up, my heads like all over the place
-
Some people are only good as bad guys in wrestling and some people are only good as good guys. That\'s how it works.
