Title: Ps2 Woes

am i the only one experiencing problems with the playstation playing DVDs, and even some games. Says disc read error, and its Pissin me off. any way to fix this?

Use a dvd lens cleaner 20-30 times in a row. Alot of times that fixes it. Otherwise either call Sony, or try to adjust the laser yourself.

Mine wouldn\'t play blue games discs in horizontal position so I put it vertical. It works fine in this position now.

First of all, ask Sony and do not use those cd-cleaners, they suck.

ive figured out the vert thingy with blue discs, but its not fail safe.

whats sonys number, dont have time to look right now, have to win a substate football game  :-)

mine is fine, and i got one of those physical head cleaners with a tab to brush and another to soak, they work excellent. official discs work in both vertical and horizontal, but fakes hav to be vertical, so i just bought a vertical stand, slower loading, but they work , and i no longer hav to pay like 35 for a game, only 3

First off you won\'t find many forums that do allow discussion of pirated games,so you shouldn\'t be surprised.Game companies do moniter forums like these from time to time just to make sure it\'s not going on,and have shut down forums in the past for it.Second  the FAQ that you were asked to read when you signed up does warn you.
