I\'ve played vice city and just for fun entered some cheats codes, played a mission, and safed this mission.
Now my load / safe option is corrupt!!!!!
for everybody;s interest!
DON\'T SAFE YOUR GAME WITH CHEATS ON! THIS WILL RUIN YOUR LOAD/SAFE MODE FOR THIS GAME!!
I\'VE LOST EVERY MISSION AND HAD TO START ALL OVER AGAIN! (I DONT CARE ABOUT THAT BECAUSE IT\'S A HELL OF A GAME!!!

VICE CITY RULEZ!!!!!!!

Post by: Green Meanie on November 15, 2002, 04:05:22 AM: I turned on the dodo cheat at one point to see what happened but then turned it off, it now gives me a warning every time I save that there are cheats activated. Am I screwed?

Of course I didn\'t save but when I loaded the game later, played it and was going to save it warned me not to save because I had entered cheats. But that had been much earlier and I hadn\'t saved that game!

Post by: Kurt Angle on November 15, 2002, 09:02:04 AM: I have used controller cheats for weapons, heath and armour and the savegames are fine, even with a warning message before saving. I have heard instances of other controller codes corrupting savegames though. If you must cheat just uses the ones mentioned above and you will be fine.

change your rating (the "Enforcer" or "Hitman" description
at the top of your stats) to "Embarrassing" and give you negative
numbers.
And, it might move some of the secret packages.

Anyone know the "truth" on this? I was planning on beating
the game w/o cheats, then using some cheats to do the other
things that are left...but now maybe I won\'t.

Shouldn\'t really matter, I guess, by the end of this game you
get a ton of $$$, and I can now buy nearly every gun...
