Blind Woman Regains Sight While Giving Birth
Norwegian woman Mona Ramdal, who had only 15% use of her sight, has miraculously regained full vision in the middle of delivering her baby.
Her ophthalmologist, Per Hvamstad, says Ramdal regained so much vision that afterwards she was able to have her driver’s license reinstated on the first try. He says he’s never heard of such a thing before.
Ramdal was born with a childhood eye infection that gradually destroyed her vision. It started to come back when she got pregnant, and by the time her now 1-yr-old daughter was born, she could see fully.
