I wouldn\'t say it\'s a good deal, seems a little expensive to me. You should build your own, break it down and it\'s cheaper.
-
haha, build yer own laptop
:)
-
Excuse my sadness, I didn\'t look properly, didn\'t see it was a laptop.
-
It seems reasonable, it has a floppy drive too. It is surprising how many new laptops are coming out now without a floppy drive.
-
its an ok deal but do yer self a favour and look some more i hear that the toshiba sattelites r pretty good like this one (http://shopping.yahoo.com/shop?d=n&id=1990894702&clink=dmss/us/Product_Browse/Computers_and_Software/SHOP_FOR_COMPUTERS/Notebooks_Sublink/Notebooks) its only down fall is the graphics card.
-
That\'s a hell of a gfx card for a laptop. Looks a little expensive to me. Especially since I don\'t see Office at all only Works. Also for $1700+ I\'d ask for at least a 2.0Ghz P4.
-
but its got 1400x1200 resolution...that cost a bit money.:p
-
Inspiron 8200 = teh win
-
That seems a bit high for that particular unit. Save up for an Area 51 instead. Now thats a monster.

you butthead I thought this was a new post.

I would shop around a little more. I got this toshiba http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=296277 for 1899.00 during a three day sale at compusa. They offered it for 500.00 off. It came with usb 2.0 ports and firewire. I don\'t belive the Dell\'s come with this. Laptops are a pain to upgrade so imho get the most up to date hardware you can get.

yeah but my post was from last year...lol spencer
