Title: Im So Pissed Off!!!!!!!

I was playing GTA VIce city at around 2:30am on Saturday night and i bought the condo place on the last island (the big one thats not open when u start playing for the first time) so i could save games and stuff. As soon as i press L1 to buy it i am standing in the spot where u walk into to save ur game(this seemed quite fast) and it asks i f i want to save, i say yes.

              Everything seems ok, im about to switch the console off when i go up on the roof of the condo and when i get up there i fell off the roof and died. I saw a helicopter up there and wanted to fly it so i got to load my saved game.

               The "Loading data please do not remove memory card" screen appears in pink letters. It stayed like this for half an hour till i decided to switch it off. Now when i start up the game the screen with the pink letters appears and stays, like this, frozen!!!!!! so i cant even get into the game without taking the memory card out and starting over.

 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!   this is so annoying!! any one got any ideas on how to fix it?


BTW the original saved game is still on the memory card if thats helps(although it may be corroupted or something) =]

Ideas on how to fix it? You cant, its corrupt, knackered, gone.

Go back to the original, if thats corrupt, start again.

BTW, if you used cheats, it corrupts save games

I didn\'t use cheats coz i heard what thewy would do to save games, oh well looks like i\'ll have to dedicate a night to getting back to where i was :( =]

I know that it probably sucks, but I\'m considering just starting again cos its so much bloody fun!!!

should do what i do, always have two saves, incaes i mess up, or if something messes one up

yea, tough buddy, i remebr it hapend to one of my games once, i turned it off while it was saving, had to start th e whole thing over agian, i remebr when ff9 done it to me aswell, memory card just messed up, was on 3rd disc, had to start again

I was shit scared to acytually turn it off coz i know it sometimes wipes the whole memory card if u take it out or turn off the console when its saving or loading, well im gonna finish off sopme math homework and start again...=]

There was a bug in GTA3 similar to this, I had to restart this game twice because my savegames somehow corupted.

I hear saving at Cherry Poppers corrupts save files, this true? I\'ve been avoiding that place like plague just in case.

Not true, I have saved there lots of times with no problem at all.

im so pissed at this game now, seriously its terrible there are so many bugs in it, maybe they should actually test it at least once b4 they release it.   =]
