Title: Annoying sound on DVDs?
Post by: Rick on November 25, 2002, 04:44:12 PM
Just noticed, when i play DVDs, there is an annoying sort of high pitched humming in the background. Could this be cos of the crappy cables or is it my ps2?

I get that sometimes as well. It\'s like agrowling sound that comes and goes from time to time. I got Star wars ep.2 on DVD and it did it on that, it also does it on GTA VC sometimes. I have noticed though, that it only does it on my non-stereo TV. When I play it on the other dolby surround sound TV, it works fine.

Some games are noisy too, the MGS2 demo that came out with ZOE made my ps2 vibrate like crazy.
