Title: What do you think?
Post by: Titan on November 25, 2002, 07:45:26 PM
I\'m listening to the FOX News Channel and hear them talking about ways that Iraq or terrorists would attack us on our own soil. Do you think they would? If they do, how do you think they\'ll do it?

I think they will and they probably will destroy one of our major cities or ports with a big bomb or something. I think Iraq has nuclear bombs and it isn\'t hard to get one. That or detonate a tanker of gass or something. That would leave a big ass crater.

Nuclear bombs give off radiation, if the US is as strong as they think they are then all they have to do is track unapproved radition.

Isn\'t that right?

If they have the balls to set off a nuke, we will make sure there will be nothing left of the Middle East.

Once again I have to agree with Ace.  If any Islamic group or country sets off a nuke on American soil, Mecca should be our first target.  Hit em where it hurts I say.

Nerve gas. An attempted attack on London\'s underground was foiled not long ago.

At the rate the US is going, who knows who is going to attack us. SUre no one can currently handle the task, but what happens when alliances consolidate?

I personally think the US needs to build up their alliances FAST before even considering going to full scale war with Iraq.

US only really has Britain, Australia and Canada at the moment (and what the hell is Canada gonna do?) If they can build up allies such as Germany, France, Japan and even Russia then I think even if we did go to war, the outcome wouldn\'t be as bad.

Everyone is just dissagreeing with everything at the moment. Germany is bitching, so is Russia.

I kind of agree with you Racer. We can take Iraq on our own though. It might piss off other countries too.

As for us being wiped out by terrorists, I doubt it. Attacked, big possibility but they really don\'t have the resourses to take out a city or state. The next attack is probably a bomb at a building. Terrorists only go for easy targets. If it is hard to go into a sporting event, they won\'t even try. So Unicron, I wouldn\'t say "Bye Bye America".

America, and Australia for that matter, have many large cities thoughout the countries, as apposed to one large city where everything happens. If they were to strike LA or Sydney for example, then it wouldn\'t really impact the country much as there are still many other cities where business etc can continue.

Iraq as like one major city, you blow it up and the whole of Iraq is gone. Get what I mean.

It will never be a case of \'Bye bye America\'.
