Title: Best movie to game translation yet....

I have it for the PS2 and yes it will be out if not already for the NGC and th X.

The production values in this game are staggering. Extremely well done. From the character models to the voice acting...supurb. It seemlessly blends scenes from the movies into the gameplay. But when it boils down to game play its a go this way and kill these enemys affair.

Thats not bad because the game is so well put together and has the best graphics I have seen on the PS2 yet. If you love LOTR this is the best of them.

IMO  a must have.

Yeah its great - but way too short.  I finished it in four hours +... It does have some replay as there are quite a few bonuses to unlock.

Ddaryl, go and pick this game up, it\'s a beautiful game especially if your a Lord Of The Rings fan.  The Graphics, the sound, the Gameplay.  I love it.   I don\'t know if it\'s on X Box.  If it is I should have waited.  I bought it for PS2 and the game looks beautiful, so the X Box version might be improved slightly.

I have a bigger list of games to get until I finally get this one. If it is a 4 hour game, I might as well rent it.

I\'m not sure about the frame rates, but if GTA:VC is 30 fps, than this is definitely way above 30fps.

Most of the time it looks quite smooth except for a few scene when there\'s tons of monsters and people running about. I think it hovers at 60fps with a slight drop occasionally but the drop is not sudden is really hardly noticeable.

bought the game for Xmas on the PS2

its alright.. nothing great

i like the combo system and upgrade system... its basic but it works well

I dislike the fixed camera angles and the follow the path scripted event gameplay, but not enough to hate the game altogether

i love the way it melds movie footage into gameplay..

At best its a solid 8 game... Its more fun now because of all the movie hype (the movie rocks of course)

Right now I\'m all ablout the Lord of the Rings... love the books, love the movies and I am enjoying the game more then I normally would because of those facts

Also the framerate is a rock solid 60FPS

there\'s no controllable camera and there are some 2D backgrounds and stuff  just like in Onimusha, but not as extreme as Onimusha

because of this graphical style the graphics appear to be much better then many other PS2 games, but its basically smoke and mirrors.

If the game was free roaming with a controllable camera the graphics would not be as sharp
