Hey guys, me and Renegade will be hosting another GT-Radio show tomorrow. For those of you who don\'t know, Gaming-Tech Radio is an internet radio show hosted by myself and my friend Renegade. As the name implies its all about Gaming and Technology news. We have phone calls, and occasionally a competition (usually trivia).
Show starts at 6pm EST. Click here (http://24.186.178.220:8000/listen.pls) during showtime to connect. And join the chat at #gt-radio on irc.innergamer.net to talk to the other listeners.
See you then.

"The architecture" lol I loved that answer.
On the whole Hammer discussion (I just kinda skimped through the show) the hammer won\'t clock as high as the P4, but it calculates more data on every clock cycle.
It wasn\'t ever designed to clock high like the P4, also it will have over a 100 million transsystors so if they clock it too high it\'ll melt.
The Hammer will really be a huge jump from the normal architecture, I hear it\'ll have an integraded north bridge and it\'s designed around Hyper Transport from the get go.
And the Alienware PC, I doubt it was the ram or the mobo that was limiting it, most likely badly setup drivers, IIRC the 9700 doesn\'t ship with the Catalyst drivers which are a whole lot better than the older ones.

God dammit. I missed the radio show. Is it a live thing or do you just record it in the computer and put it on your computer?

Exactly, AMD\'s CPUs have a higher IPC count (4 I believe), whereas Intel\'s chips are limited to 1 instruction per clock. Yeah, it\'s gonna have an integrated north bridge/memory controller, as well as HyperTransport.
