While it may be tacky, NOTHING is a waste of cash if the person with said item/s are happy.

Well a jet or Ferrari, while also serving as status symbols, they still serve a purpose.  Gold teeth are 100% for status, they have no practical purpose (especially pullouts).  It\'s one thing if you\'re a rapper or actor who\'s income depends on image, another if you\'re living in a piss poor neighborhood where someone may actually steal your dentures.

Anyone have a good pic of Goldie?  I know he\'s the fine looking chap in Snatch (bad boy yardie) but we never got a good shot of his teef.

They look so unhygenic. I can\'t for the life of me figure out why somebody would want to do something like that.

If it\'th not not unhygenic, that at leatht it mutht cauth problemth with thpeaking

I do have a gold inlay filling in one of my teeth, but that is only because some shagwit wasn\'t watching what he was doing in the pub one night, he turned round rather sharpish, and knocked a piece out of one of my teeth with his elbow. Fortunately, it was one at the back, so you can\'t see it.

It does seem a waste of money, but goldie is pretty coll and gang-star, he looks the shit with em! I cant think of anyone else that could pull it off

i wonder if coke etc etc is more corrosive on gold and silver than it is on normal teeth
