Well, I bought  my kid brother an Xbox so he will be really happy.
Now all I have to solve is
sister
all grand parents (3)
Mom
her husband
Dad
His wife
Girlfriend.

damn its hard buying good gifts. Anyone have any good suggestions?

I find hard even coming up with things that I want. So far:
Power drill
squash racket
sex related stuff;-)  (I really don\'t see my partens or grandparents sorting this out, But I have high hopes for my girl...;-) )

5.1 system first, it certainly extends the entertainment life of what you already own.

I think I\'m going to get an XBOX.  I had a PS2 but sold it because I got a hair up my ass about wasting time playing video games.  And even though the PS2 has some great titles that I haven\'t played I think I\'ll give the old XBOX a try.

Title: what\'s on your christmas list?
Post by: Ryu on December 03, 2002, 03:26:53 PM
My list just gets smaller and smaller as I get older mainly because I either buy or get for free the games I want and there\'s nothing else that I really want other than that.  I buy my own clothes when I need them and my own appliances if I want them.  Still, I managed to scrap together a rather nice list:

Minolta Maxxum 5 35mm camera [I own a digital already]
Wacom Intuos2 9x12 tablet
007 Nightfire [Xbox]
Hitman 2 [Xbox]
Street Fighter Alpha 3 [GBA]
Back to the Future Trilogy [DVD]
Austin Powers 3-pack [DVD]
Minority Report [DVD]

That\'s all I really have.  Money would also be nice so I can buy all my own stuff anyways.  Whatever happens, all that stuff will be mine one way or another.  Christmas is a time for me to give rather than recieve and I do that well. :)

**EDIT: And two items bite the dust.  Just can\'t stay away from the Konami goodness. :)

Bingo.  I work for two sites:  http://www.gamingtarget.com -- the Nintendo section and http://www.intensity-magazine.com -- everything but Nintendo.  I-M relaunches tomorrow and a couple of reviews will be posted for that.  If you want to read my reviews, I post the links to them ALL the time in the Latest game purchase thread in Console Discussion. /self advertisement

Lets see. One of those costs about 4000 bucks, actually, more. Then he gets a game pretty often as opposed to my once ever 3 months. He\'s getting Steel Battalion which is more than the damn Xbox. So yeah, I guess he\'s loaded :) That or he\'s in the mob ;)

They\'re not $4,000. Best Buy was havin\' a mass sale on \'em due to the holidays. Comes with a free leather chair and DVD player, etc. Actually I got a pretty decent deal on it. I wanted the 65 inch but it was way to expensive.

As for the "rich" comment. Nah. I make decent money where I work and I live at home - which means my only bill is my car payment once a month. Leaves for quite abit of clear money.

Most of my list is way to far fetched for almost anyone except my rich ass grandma to get for me. But I never stop hoping, plus I gotta get presents too. AGH, Chrismas is a pain in the ass.

Heres my list:

1. TV(not to big, maybe a 22-26 inch would be good)
2. X-Box(mainly ONLY because I must play Splinter Cell)
3. The Getaway
4. In Justice For All
5. The Godfather Trilogy
6. A new friggin Laptop(The cpu I have now is about 5 years out-dated and it freezes about every five minutes)
7. The Network Adaptor
8. 1 "12 sub/amp (my car is small, and its a hatchback with no back seats so thats all I need. Dont wanna go def. Just enough so that a have alot more bass for my constant Pantera.)
9. Shoes/Clothes

Theres my list. Im gonna try and get some of those items myself. Im leaving in March maybe sooner, headed to bootcamp. Then Ill start getting some money.
