Does anyone know if there is a Worms game planned for PS2?
Has anyone checked to see if there\'s a large hole in the ground where Team 17 once were?
I feel as if one of my arms has been removed if I don\'t have a Worms game in my collection.
-
Worm\'s was a great multi player game.
Nothing quit like picking on a mate’s team and wiping out 3 or 4 of them with a well-placed carpet bomb or holy hand grenade.
Great fun.
-
The Holy Hand Grenade is possibly the funniest weapon in any game ever.
I miss getting home pissed and not being able to fly a sheep straight.
That came out wrong didn\'t it!
-
That\'s pretty funny, I totally forgot about the flying sheep. Brilliant. I remember trying to swing rope like spiderman to get to strategic places, then just get a weapon out and about to fire and run out of time F***.
How could I forget the granny bomb.
Did you ever play hogs of war? Another great laugh when playing multiplayer.
-
I never managed to play Hogs Of War in multiplayer, all my fellow worms players thought it blasphemous!
It was quite interesting though, I think the AI was more aggressive than worms.
-
I think there is definitely a hole in the market for this type of game. Hopefully we will get another worms game soon.
-
Yes a new 3D Worms game is planned for PS2.
-
Great news.
-
Cool, any images?
-

no your not too young
it was also called TanXs (tanks)
and was the same idear except you only had one unit (a tank) and couldn\'t move.
it was and still is Greatly inferior to worms for this reason.
and it was boring as hell
thank God for Team 17 ehhhhh :D
-
Edit: Ooseven covered most of it.
Except that you could move.
-
I LOVE ALL OF YOU.
Sorry lost control for a second.
I\'ve been searching for Tanx for a couple of years now, a friend had it on his Amiga but I couldn\'t find it anywhere for download.
I\'ll now start searching for Scorched Earth and be happy that one of my problems has just disappeared.
-
Scorched Earth is much easier to find. :)
(But we shouldn\'t be talking about this.... shhhhhhh)
-
Cool, hopefully that should see me through until someone pulls their finger out of their ar*e at Team 17.
Cheers muchly.

Any words of online for that game?
It wouldn\'t be worms without online play.
-
There wouldn\'t be any need for amusing worldwide accents if that became possible!
-
Team 17 building is still standing, I live and work near it. I once applied for a job there as a games tester but didn\'t get it.
-
Wooohoooooo!! Worms rocks, tanx was ok, but worms is ace! I still play Worms World Party from time to time on my PC, it was great fun in my student house last year on the network, apart from one of my housemates took it far too seriously and always used to bury his worms!!
-
I loved worms and hogs of war but did any of you play worms blast? Man that was bad, IMO.
-
So I hear.
WWP gets alot of play at my house... I love the banana bombs.
