Title: ever play qbasic gorillas?
Post by: mm on December 07, 2002, 01:36:26 PM: well, a while back i saw someone coded a sequel, that looks better, allows for 4 players, AND PLAYS OVER A NETWORK!
we play it at school all the time and its a blast

its simple to play if you\'ve never seen gorillas (an old DOS qbasic game)
you enter in the angle of the throw and velocity to throw at
gravity and wind will affect the thrown banana
press throw and try to hit yer opponent
there\'s also special bananas (original had none) like magnetic, nuke (wipes out entire building), war (goes thru buildings), and rolling

interface is easy enough to figure out, one person hosts and give the other 3 players thier IP to connect

you can play 1 vs cpu
2, 3, and 4 player free for all
or 2 vs 2 teams (this is the most fun option)
