Okey dokey..
Today, when I was playing GT3, I noticed the controller wasn`t vibrating, it seemed dead..
Being the dumbass I am, I decided to open it up and have a look inside.

Everything looks allright to me..? I plugged the controller into the ps2 and fired it up to see what happened, to my surprise the left vibrator was working like a champ.. but the right one is silent...
I have now found a new problem, this thingey is very hard to put back together!! :crap: I just can`t get the lower shoulder buttons right, they get kinda "mushed" :(
Any suggestions? :crying:

It\'s a fine art putting a controller back together and making them look like they was never taken apart .. TRust me. I\'ve broken many controllers and always decided I\'d take them apart to see what I broke inside it - and then try to get it back together. Never succeeded, until the last year or so. After a lot of practice and experience, I can now take the damn things apart and put back together. I just recently done an Xbox \'S\' controller - that damn thing has a hidden screw underneath the label on the backside of the controller.
My advice to you is, either buy a new one or keep fiddling with it. THe most important thing when taking something apart is remembering how it came apart.
;)

darnit!! I`m ordering a new one..
Edit: Wait, I don`t have enough money :(
-
Hmm..
My only problem is keeping the things under the shoulder buttons from getting mushed up. (see attached file)
How did you do that, living in a clip?
*frustrated*

You got to get the rubber thingy between the button and the thingy thats holding the button. Make sure the button is not pressed down and there should be no problem. Hard to explain but I\'ve taken mine apart 2 times and never failed..
Should not be that hard..

Sweeet Jesus!! I got it!! :bounce:
I had to use a teeny screwdriver and push the rubber thingy down for it to work :)
And Hey, it`s even vibrating again! (odd, all I did was take the back off and on)
Ahhh!! I`m so happy happy! :D
Thanx for your quick help guys, much appreciated!;

I think I\'ll try this procedure too mate.My DS2 has the exact same problem.Well, wish me luck.:hat:

Good luck!
The right vibrator motor is still dead, but my lefty is ok. I have no idea what happened :hold:

I wouldn\'t even try to go inside my controller.

I used to have the same problem with my ps2 controller, i opened it up and try to close it again. I accident loosen the wire for the vibrator and the two joysticks button doesn\'t work anymore.. I have to buy a new one for $35! That was last year. Now, the dual shock 2 controller is selling for $25. So was the memory card. Kinda piss.
