Title: New mouse.
Post by: fastson on December 19, 2002, 04:11:39 PM
I\'ve had it with this shitty Microsoft Inteli Mouse.
Its only giving me problems now. The left button is totally worn out, so I must be very violent when I press the button or else it wont register and the wheel gets stuck all the time.

So my qez is.. Can you recommend a good mouse? Its got to be optic, and I\'d rather buy something else than Microsoft..

I was thinking of getting this Logitech MX500.

Got any others to recommend?

Thanks.. :)

It\'s a very good purchase, I\'ve been planning on getting either this one or the MX700. You don\'t really have to install those pesky Mouseware drivers, the only thing you\'ll lose is the task switch button.

Logitech is a good brand, but I personally don\'t like their mice.  Their wireless keyboards are awesome, but wireless mice are just too slow when it comes to response and twitch based games.  A corded optical USB mouse is your best bet and I recommend the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 5-button optical mouse.  The corded version is totaly awesome and I\'ve been using the brand for 4 years (2nd mouse of course) and I just feel you can\'t go wrong with it.

I generally don\'t like the shape of the MS Explorer mice, and Logitech\'s usually feel more solid IMO. It\'s just that the mouseware drivers often suck

I have a Logitech Wheel Mouse. I should have gotten an MX mouse. I\'ll get it when I get a new computer.
