Title: Thoroughly cleaning a PS2...
Post by: Proud To Be on December 26, 2002, 03:05:25 PM
My Ps2 seems to collect a lot of dust most of the time. I know the inside of the console has to be pretty dusty.

I was thinking about getting some computer cleaner and using that through all of the vents around the Ps2.

Anyone know of a good/better way?

Open it up and use compressed air (computer compressed air from the store). I did that. Clean as a whizzle :)

Whizzle?!?!?!

Isnt that another word for penis? Well atleast here in AK it is.
I hope you meant whistle.
Yeah, compressed air works good, buy a cd lense cleaner too and run that once a week or so. They usually go around 8 bucks.

I myself might need to give my PS2 a cleaning, it has been untouched on the interior since launch.  It\'s due for a good cleaning, being as it has been around my house since launch.
