Title: I think my XBOX is broken already

Ok, there is something wrong with the internal menu thing. I have copied 3 whole music CD\'s to the HD and it still says that I have 50 000+ blocks left to use, which is like what it was on before I saved anything.

Does this just mean I have heaps of memory left or aren\'t these CD\'s registering in memory. I\'m afraid there could be a glitch and they may not be able to be removed.

Any ideas?

Also, the controller is waaaaaay too big. I have bigger hands then Arnold Swarzeneger (thanks to his hand print at that Chinease theatre in LA) and I find it so hard to use.

The HDD is partitioned.  One area is for save games (hence the 50,000 blocks), one area is for ripped music, and another area is for use during gameplay (for streaming).

Although, I believe you actually have about 150,000 save data blocks on the HDD.

Also, you get used to the controller.  But I would recommend a controller S.  It\'s about the same size as the PS2 controller.

So, theres nothing wrong then? How much room is there for music? I only have a couple of saved games files so thats probably why its still 50 000+.

You have like 2gig for music.  Perhaps more, I\'ve forgotten the figures.

I have you beat Racer, I\'ve had my Xbox for 5 days and I\'ve already broken a controller.  While I like the system more than the ps2, I must say that the ps2 controllers could take more of a beating than these.  With the ps2 I could throw the controller at the wall and it would still work, with these all I did was toss it into the air about 7 feet out of frustration and when it landed it f*cked up the joy stick so that it won\'t move anything in the game except for left.  I\'m still pissed off....

I\'ve thrown my ps2 controllers and they still work. Sony\'s controllers can take a hell of a beating.
