I saw it at Kmart today, and I didn\'t know it was out already.. Anyone see any reviews on it? I\'ve been waiting for a good DBZ game since Legends on the PSone.
-
Not many good reviews(if any). If you are a big DBZ fan then you may like the game. The graphics are pretty good and they do a good job of converting all of the 2D animations into 3D. I\'d rent it first.
-
I heard it blows (PSM).
-
I posted some screens of the game here a while back and it looked terrible.
-
If it\'s the same as the Aussie one it is in japanese, which was the reason I didn\'t buy it.Combo\'s were a bit of a pain in the ass eg.FFDFBBKKPKDFP is what combo\'s are like. Bout 7/10
-
The combos are nothing like that......there usually spimple things like oooox or something.

You get lots of combo\'s and not even the easy combo\'s are that easy.Have you played this game or what?

Ok, I just rented it today.. I just finished the Frieza saga.. It\'s just like the TV show, but with a few missing parts, which you should know already if you watch the show. Overall, it\'s an alright game, far better than suck ass Dragonball GT. Still, nothing beats Legends.

You are probably talking about a different game. The combos in this one are ridiculously easy. You can win the game by doing the punch-punch-punch-special combo over and over and over and over..............and over again.

The game looked like a fighter that should be played by little kids. It looked ridiculously easy.

I think he\'s talking about the same game.. the PP>PPE combos are probably too hard for him. :nut:

I\'d rather be shit at dragonball games than a ghey with an arse picture.

These three words describe DBZ\'s gameplay perfectly:
Mash mash mash.
Really, it is a really shallow fighting game IMO. The story mode is way too easy, and the vs mode is just not really that fun for veteran fighting game players. I would say rent this game only if you are a huge DBZ fan, otherwise, skip this title altogether. I would even recommend the over-hyped, dial-a-combo-rific Mortal Kombat 5 over this game. (Although, if you want a really good fighter, you would be better off just sticking with VF4, Tekken 4, SSBM, or DOA3, or just waiting for SC2.)
-
I\'ve not heard many great things about this game. At best I\'d give it a rental, only dedicated DBZ fans should go out on the limb and purchase this. Its just mediocre in every way.
-
Yea, it\'s kinda kiddie as well..
-
I sorta liked it. The presentation is top-notch. The gameplay is simple , but still kinda fun. I\'m not a Dragon Ball Z fan tho\', so I\'m sure if you\'re a fan of the series it\'ll score a couple points higher.

its alright, but no urge to go out and buy this.
