Rumour has it that GT4 will officially be unvieled in playable format at this years E3! According to inside sources, the game boasts new tracks to the ones featured in GT3 including a Hong Kong track, and some tracks from GT2 that never made it into GT3. There is also supposedly real time weather and online play (naturally).
This is gonna be the best E3 yet I reckon.

Shut up.
-
Lol @ Bob
Anyway... it\'s about time they show something from it.
-
"You are an idiot, hahahahahahaha hahahahaha!!"
Damn! :)
-
I can\'t wait to see how GT4 is shaping up.
-
Yeah...I like the fact that they said the cars will be more realistic in that they will be damageable...at least that\'s what I heard. Can\'t wait for it\'s unveiling...

hopefully they change the consept enough. the graphics and physics are good enough, but the game has been practically same from GT1.
it would be nice to have some kind of career mode with lets say 100 different AI drivers with names that would try to drive and succeed the same way as player. So it would not be like.. oh theres that honda again, but as Whoa that AI-driver (insert name here) have got new wheels and notice that it couldn“t drive his powerful backwheeler as good as it could it\'s old car and lose race becouse single mistake at curve.
for it would give game new meaning and not just drive to get money and tweak new car, we have had that too many times and if it comes to that Again. well.. theres no point to play. (at least for me)

That\'s a really good idea, IMO. But I don\'t think it\'ll be in GT4. Maybe later.

It sold millions because of being very similar (gameplaying speaking) to the #1. If GT1 was good, why to change? Improving better than changing.

GT4, aka Grand Tourismo Online. What a glorious day it will be when I get my hands on that game. I have some time to finish GT3 (getting 100%) and filling my garages. It\'ll be interesting to see how the Online Feature plays out.

hope they have a dash board view, its would be amazing having detail in car view. And damage would be amazing but i aint holding my breath for that as those car companies are tight as fuk

But in gt3 it was so much easier to let your car go flying into the wall than braking turning than another car hits you you go on the dirt and start sliding ariund and get in 6th place.

GT4 better have Ferrari\'s in it and some latest formula one cars

I want a porche

I\'m hoping that Polyphony make some advances in the handling stakes. it would be nice if i could choose a more \'sim like\'
handling model, seeing as this should be a \'Racing Simulator\'. wheel lockups whilst getting on the brakes hard is a
must do. this would stop a lot of cheating as drivers who attack too much would just simply understeer and slide off into the barriers.
i\'d expect it to be asking for too much for GT4 to include realtime damage so there must be another subsitute to encorage
players to take the correct line and compete in the way that everyday races would in real life. something like GT2002 on
the X-Box, I quite like it in the fact that you get part malfunctions, blown turbos, exhaust faliures etc... and if you knock other
cars whilst in the race, you loose your bonus prize money that you would have gotten for a clean \'Bump Free\' run.
I believe that Polyphony could use the basis and improve it. what about performance loss, slippy tires once you hit gravel
(until you clear the tyres), dead spots on the tyres (e.g. when you lock up the wheels and skid you make a flat spot
on the tyre that produces vibration and poor handling), blown gaskets/manifolds etc.. all selectable under difficulty settings.
This would add a great deal for the \'Real Racing Sim\' fans.
There is an excelent example of Racing Physics in an addon for F12002 (PC) and it\'s called GT2002 ( http://www.simmods.com )
now this has the best physics in a car game ever! imho. it displaces Grand Prix Legends as the most realistic sim
and quite simply takes it to another level. so if you have...
1: A copy of F1 2002
2: Decent Speed Internet Connection
3: A Steering Wheel (Reccomended by myself)
Then go download it.. you will be surprised at what these guys have done with F12002.
