Title: DDR MAX Dance pads
Post by: THX on January 11, 2003, 03:52:49 PM
My sister is getting into this game and wants to get the PS2 version and a couple of dance pads.  I saw this deal on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21185&item=3000266137) but have heard of crappy pads that don\'t respond very well.  Is it worth it to pay $100 for 2 Red Octane pads or will those in the ebay link work fine?

all I know is that its going to cost you, but if your willing to go out and spend it try Ebay or something.

For the game and two dance mats, that isn\'t a bad price, but if you looked around more on Ebay, you might be able to find something cheaper.  Also, those dance mats will slip on songs where you have to move really quickly. You can modify the mats to remedy that problem.

Yeah.  You\'re gonna have to shave your balls to get them to work properly.

My balls get shaved every 3-5 months when things get outta control down there.  This is for my sister though, and I\'m pretty sure she doesn\'t have any balls cause she\'s sush a p*ssy.

kyo- I\'ve heard of people modding them to make them stickier.  Is there a site that explains how?

DDR Freak (http://www.ddrfreak.com/library/faqs-modding.php) has a section on modding the pads. Don\'t use the Home Depot hardwood floor covering like they describe. It works, but it makes an annoying bump in the middle of the pad. Get some clear vinyl from Wal Mart instead.
