I saw a ducumentary about rods a week ago. Anyone beliving they exist. Opinions?

I\'ve seen a couple of shows about this. I don\'t know what they are and I don\'t believe it\'s just some sort of strange camera phenomena.

I was editing a video one time and it appeared to me that the shooter caught one of these little guys on camera. Very weird.

The explanation that I recieved is that they are merely normal insects flying in front of the camera. They are moving very fast and it looks like a blur when paused. Someone did a test on something like this and they tried the bug theory to see if it was true and it looked remarkably similar to the rods.

Thats the skeptics point of view on it that I recieved. I don\'t know how bugs could be explained for the rods in those tornado videos though.

The video of the guy base jumping into the cave is the one that the skeptics were using to show that they are just bugs.
