Bleh....  Shit, Shenmue looks better than this, and it was on the DC 3 years ago.  Horible lighting effects, poor textures, and little detail.  Is this ps2 or ps1?

yeah, this doesn\'t look exactly top notch. however, i think
these are magazine scans and these are caps from levels
which are not yet finished. and oh.. the new side-kick dude
looks stupid imo :nerd:   :laughing:

Definitely bad scans. I\'ve seen footage of the game, and it looks much better than this.

I hope it lives up to its name this time. Its going to take more than updated graphics to get by the games that have cloned it over time.

With Indy Jones on the horizon and yet another delay(who knows why this time the game could be in trouble)it now has a firm Q2 03 date(spring). They claim they want it to coincide with the movies release date. My only question is ...why?

Perhaps they are hoping the movie will make the game more successful which could help sales but I dont think so.

Are they losing confidence and getting cold feet?

This delay worries me. Lets hope for the best.

Delays can only mean one thing - a better game.

Give the dev\'s more time to tweak and mess around. Sure, it could indicate that the game sucks, but at least they are trying to make a sucky game good.

The problem with the Tomb Raider movie is that they had a pretty decent plot, fairly decent acting, and a decent cast to act it out. That is just the problem. It was only decent. As for Indiana Jones, the movies were a compilation of an excellent plot, awesome acting, and a stellar cast to act them out. The Indy movies will always be timeless classics. Tomb Raider will only be remembered by the video game populous and soon forgotten by the moviegoers. I’ll still watch the next TR, but I will always look forward to seeing Indy in action.

Tomb Raider sucked BECAUSE of the plot. It got too unbelievable. That was what made it suck.
