Title: don\'t laugh...is The Sims released a week on friday?(24th Jan)

Just wondering if anybody has had a "definite" release date for The Sims on PS2? I\'ve heard 24th Jan

(see how I highlighted the word DEFINITE? oh how ironic the situation is and how fickle & gullible we are to believe this shit they give us, when they tell us it\'s DEFINETLY out on THIS date or THAT date)

I\'ve had this on PC and you guys are gonna be all like "why you buying this if you\'ve had it on pc?" but I wanna try the extra stuff like multiplayer and whatever...
I\'m trading my copy of The Getaway for it (woohoo! I can finally get rid of it after completing it ages ago!)
The Sims looks great on PS2 and it should be fun...then Mortal Kombat:DA and Tomb Raider:AOD are next on the list!

Just to open everyone\'s eyes, the Sims on PS2 will not be the its PS2 counterpart, it is fully 3D with no prerendered items... it will still be awesome and possibly even more fun.

I have never understood the desire for this game.  I played it for a couple hours.  The dude peed on the floor.  The place was a mess.  It was downright boring.

But that\'s my humble opinion that no one asked for.

It\'s not online, but there are a bunch of new options.  And yes, it\'s out now.

Yeah...I can\'t why people want to waste so many hours playing Sims...watch some dude pee on the floor...smack each other in the face..etc etc...

I tried to pratice polygamy in the game...put two bed in the same bedroom in a house with 1 guy and two women...see who gets to sleep together...ha..ha..after that it wasn\'t interesting anymore....seriously, my life is MUCH MUCH more interesting than the Sims..

Anyway for fans of the series, the PS2 version actually have objectives (like missions) unlike the PC version, this should be better as u can actually complete missions without wandering aound aimlessly peeing everywhere like a wild dog...
