Q : What is Jump(ing) the Shark mean ?
A : it refers to the moment when a TV show has hit is peek or sunk to a all time low in which it either recovers (all be it as a shadow of its former self) or to be canned.
Q : why did it get its name ?
A : it refers to the infamous episode of Happy Days (the one they go to California) and the Fonz who is in a water Skiing competition , jumps over a shark…it was so bad .. The show was canned shortly after wards
