Ok, I\'m so ****ing pissed off. My hard drive went faulty and I\'m covered so I phone PC World. This is what followed:
Tuesday: They come with with the wrong part.
Thursday: They come again, this time with a 20gb HDD instead of a 40gb, and, they don\'t just not fix my HDD, they brake my floppy drive.
They piss me off so much, they\'ll be here on Monday for 3rd time lucky, and they won\'t even let me do it, says it will void the warrenty, bunch of monkeys.
-
Damn, did Kopking invade your body? You big non-speller bad grammar dude.
-
Go **** yourself whore, I\'m pissed off.
-
and ranting in here like a child will fix yer problem?
-
MM, you know what you can do? Just let me vent.
-
Serves you right for buying from PC world. Muhahahahaha
-
i kinda did,,, u see he has been drinking, and when peep drink they talk like the way i spell
-
See, atleast someone understands me. I\'ve just been really down and depressed the last few days, I\'ve been feeling like shit. Nothing seems good in my life anymore, so I drink, watch porn and feel a little bit better about my life.
-
and how can you be depressed, seem your living the perfect life at mo
beer - check
porn - check
wooo perfect lifestyle
-
 @ Kopking
-
PC World = teh suck!!
-
What the hell is PC World? In the US, that\'s a magazine. BTW, I would have just pulled the hard drive, taken it to the shop and swapped it. Then gone home and reinstalled the new drive myself. Why trust a bunch of monkeys with such a simple task?
-
cause, they say it voids warrenty if someone else does it.. which is BULLS@#T
Only way u void the warrenty is if u do something stupid to f@#k up the drive, like open it up etc.
-
Err, because then I\'d have to pay for the drive, I got the drive for free on warrenty. I\'d rather let the monkeys do it then pay 80 pound and do it myself.
-
you live in europe? i havent heard of PC world, cause its in europe.
-
It\'s like the biggest PC store over here, "Where in the world, PC World"
-
/me kick rick in the bean bags for singing that song.
-
Idea: Learn to install a HD by yourself and quit depending on stupid warrantys for simple things!
-
^^ Are you stupid? read the damn post, and I\'m training as a PC engineer, I think I can just about put a HDD in. I used the warranty so I didn\'t have to pay for the part. Look before you leap.
-
Well, I see it this way. You can bitch and moan about them screwing it up and waiting for them to fix it. Or you could quit being a cheap-skate, buy the HD you want and install it yourself and be done with the problem.
-
Why pay £80 when I don\'t have to? And some of us have other things to pay for then a new HDD, I\'m sorry, but mummy and daddy don\'t pay for all my stuff. Now, if you want to wire me £80, I\'ll gladly go buy a new drive, install it and send you a picture.
-
I\'m sorry, but mummy and daddy don\'t pay for all my stuff
Nor does mine.
Your point is, what? That you rather be lazy and whine? Whoopie!
-
and I\'m training as a PC engineer, I think I can just about put a HDD in.
That doesn\'t sound good. You\'re training as a engineer yet u can "just" about put a hard drive in. It should take u 1 week to learn how to build a pc from scratch when schooling/working in it. It\'s not exactly hard.
You can\'t VOID the warranty if u install it yourself. They\'re bullshitting u. Any "engineer" would know this. They get their stuff from wholesalers, the wholesalers from the manufactures. The manufactures are the ones that make the warranty rules. Installing a hd is not going to void warranty even if your not qualified to do it. I\'ve installed heaps of hard drives and returned failed/faulty ones without having any degree/diploma or certificate.
If it is faulty or If they don\'t want to replace it on the spot. Ask for your money back. They have to by law.
just a thought.

When I said just about, I was being sarcastic. And I\'m going on what they said, if I put it in, I\'m ****ed, maybe it\'s just them, but that\'s the way it is.
