That was the easiest Final Fantasy released. Try beating Final Fantasy 7\'s Emerald Weapon.

FFVIII is my favorite because off the wide variety of tweaking options to be taken advantage of (or not). Very complex compared to the normal- buy the next upgrade of weapon/armor- set up of many RPGs. Knowing beforehand the monsters leveled up with the characters, I kept the number of battles to an absolute minimum, pushing through to see what happened next. Love dem FMVs.
[VIII] was the easiest Final Fantasy released. Try beating Final Fantasy 7\'s Emerald Weapon
That depends on how well prepared you are. Once I got the right set-up, all it took me to beat Emerald was one press of a button
I basically ignored the weapon upgrades in FFVIII for lack of the right items and the spells seeming much more efficient, an almost fatal mistake combined with my not knowing you could draw several GFs until well after I got to the castle. The final fight was tough as nails. I tried so many times I was almost sure I\'d have to start over in order to finish the game. I heard after beating the game there is a way back to the normal time/space world of disc 3 but I sure never found it.

the biggest fault (IMO) they made with FFVIII was the drawing system, there is no fun in having to draw your magic \'n\' stuff. I really hated to have to draw on an enemy for a long time, just to get enough spells, such a waste of time!!!

You\'ve unknowingly touched upon one of the aspects about the game I really admire. That is, offering more than one way to skin the various cats thrown at you. Through the abilities refine card/item/magic you could get most all the magic you\'d need. Genuine reason to draw repeatedly was an illusion that for the most part could be kept to a real bare minimum. Even so, I didn\'t mind the draw system and sort of made a minigame of observing which characters drew from which monster best, using the weaker drawer to fight/heal when need be. Also, finding the cursor memory function seemed to reduce the drag factor considerably, making the chore seem rather quick and painless. Eh, maybe that\'s just me though

My favorite is still Xenogears, for story, music, script, gameplay, design, all of it. With Xenosaga coming out, I\'m really excited right now. In fact, at this point, I don\'t even know if there are any other RPGs coming out right now. Are there?
