Title: 8 mile = sucks
Post by: kopking on January 20, 2003, 12:47:33 PM: just saw 8 mile with eminem on sat night, amn did it suck, its full of stereotypes, like his "gang" full of a fat guy, a dude, and a idiot...

i used to think the "love intrest" of eminems character was v nice, but she got a weird eye, and her mouth is weird...

ive heard talk of eminem getting a oscar for this, i totally hope not, his acting was piss poor, all he done was be moody, this whole film sucks a$$

what are other peeps thouhgsts

ohh yeah, i didnt want to see this, it was 11.30 at night, only other film was gangs of newyork, but being 3 hours long the peep i was with didnt wanna see it

Post by: theomen on January 20, 2003, 06:10:02 PM: I thought it was quite good, but then again I watched it without predjudice against the lead actor. Like if I were to watch Gangs of New York, I\'d say it sucked because I hate Leo Decaprio. Same thing would go for a Tom Hanks movie.

ALthough it came directly off the oscars website under the tab of nominees. Seems like they should put it down as last years.

I would agree with you on that.

I\'ve just seen Gangs of New York & thought Daniel Day-Lewis played an excellent part & deserves an Oscar. I\'m not sure if the film was released too late to be nominated though. It\'s a good movie and should probably be nominated for best movie as well.

M&M, no chance.

If you\'re wondering whether any of the films mentioned above qualify, they all do. Studios always do limited releases in December to get them in under the wire.

"The Quiet American" finally had it\'s limited release last month, and it will also qualify.
