With the success of Spider-Man and the upcoming DareDevil and Incredible Hulk , let\'s take a vote.
1) Who is your favorite superhero or who was your favorite superhero when you was little?
2) What is, in your opinion the best superhero movie?
My answers are:
Batman . Why? The more modern versions of him are great. A true dark knight who is only set on revenge and his true alter ego is in reality himself, Bruce Waynce. A rich recluse.
Best movie: Batman (1989). Tim Burton had a great vision for the superhero and Michael Keaton done a great job portraying him. Not only did Keaton do a great job, he had a great nemesis in Nichalson, as The Joker.
Honorable mention: Superman. Christopher Reeves was the man!

1. superman
2. batman
-
here is mine
1)Blade.
Why? well when i first watched it i though "bloody hell thats Wesley Snipes", loved the flim.. heck still do Snipes plays it role well despite the fact that his nemesis Frost (Stephen Dorff) looks like a pastey surf boy who would brake his ankle stepping off the side walk on to the road.
2)Best movie: Flash Gordon (1980)
yeah Flash Gordon was a Comic book hero before even his Black and White films...Why ?
Its Big...Its fun..its slightly camp but still a Classic the Over the Top feal to the movie extends even to the Sound track provided by Queen.
hey it even has Timothy "the Irish Bond" Dalton in it along with Italian beauty Ornella Muti who played Mings Daughter.
What more can you want ?
oh yeah the hero is a Football Quaterback

Comic Book Flims
The Xmen ..etc...
p.s.
see when there was that big kick up about that Cult that clamed they cloned a Human baby ... Did anyone else think their leader looked like ZOG the evil super villain leader from Superman 2 ?
-
My favourite superhero as a child was Superman. My favourite superhero movie is obviously Superman. Anyone that can see through people\'s clothes is cool with me ;)
-
It was ZOD, not ZoG.
:D
<- Just finished watching \'Superman II\'.

might do it later when i get home
/me gets back to work :D
-
No Problem..:D
( /me goes back to dreaming of a full Richard Donner version of Superman II...*sigh* )

Spiderman has always been my favorite super hero. I just dig that webslinging. And any guy hero who breaks his girlfriends neck (thus killing her) in an attempt to save her is cool in my book. It\'s a pity that it wasn\'t featured in the movie :(
The original Batman is the best superhero movie. Jack Nicholson is the man. Than grin... oh..... so grinny.
-
looks like Zog let himself Go. ;)

I haven\'t cared for any of the Marvel movie adapations so far. I thought X-men was downright terrible and Spider-Man had parts that was okay and the rest was crapola. The altered the story to much and the Goblin\'s custome looked downright terrible.
Sad really. I don\'t look forward to the next three comin\' out of Marvel either.:(
(DareDevil, X-2 and Hulk?!? ICK!)
-
Batman is by far my favorite superhero of all time. Sure, it really went over the top with all that crap about the bat-nuclear-blast repellant spray and what not, but before then when he was actually a detective, he was like the perfect mix between a perfect hardend vigilante and an ingenius Sherlock Holmes. Bob Kane is a friggin genius.
On that note, it should be obvious what my favorite superhero movie is: Batman. Although it was hardly a display of his skills as a superhero, it was still the best way anyone has presented the material in a motion picture format. I still think I could have done a better job though. ;)

Meh.. Goblins costume might have been poor, but I still think that William DaFoe put in an absolutely stellar performance as the goblin. Possibly my favorite portrayal of a super-villain since the Joker.

Spiderman and Blade.
-
SPIDERMAN is my Favorite comic but I dont belive it was the best movie about a comic I think that would fall to SPAWN OMFG John Leguizamo as the clown great part :-)
-
1) Toss up between Wolverine and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, I am younger, so I wasn\'t into the "darkhorse" version mm was.
2) X-men just for Wolverine. I wanna see him slice someone in half.
-
Ninja Turtles for the humor, wackiness, martial arts and the pizza.
-
Swamp Thing! Awww yeah. I had to mention it.
Seriously, most of the superhero films do suck, and I don\'t consider really any of them to be perfect. Spiderman comes closest.
I sincerely wish someone would do a Silver Surfer or Fantastic 4 film. If done right, those would be incredibly incredible. I will play Galactus. :)
-
fav superhero when a kid = spiderman
fav super hero now = spiderman
cant really say what my fav superhero film is, none have been outstanding, i didnt really like spiderman..... id have to say either batman or blade
-
Best childhood superhero would have to be Aquaman. Heck I learned how to swim because of mimicing him. Some of my best childhood memories are in the pool we had doing the aquaman swim, and diving to save lost pennies in the deep end.
The best superhero movie is a close tie between Tim Burton Batman, and Richard Donner Superman. I would have to go superman just because of one line exchaged between Lois and Superman at their first meeting. Superman goes I\'ve got you, and Lois\'s response is you\'ve got me. Who\'s got you?!? My how I love that line.
-
That\'s a great line, but so is the line from Batman.
THug: "What are you?!?!?"
Batman: "I\'m., Batman!"
-
1) Superman cuz he is probably the best superhero all around. Spiderman to me is nothing and if batman didnt have his belt hed be screwed.
2) Havnt seen too many superhero movies. i still havnt seen spiderman. outta the ones iv seen, the batman with the penguin as the main bad guy has been my favorite. i havnt seen the \'first\' batman and superman movies so thats why none of those are my favorite

Batman: Returns was decent, but it was the signal of troubling times for the Batman movies.
If you like the first half of Batman : Returns, go and get the first Batman movie. It is a dark, forbidding movie. Great all around.
Superman, is just a damn classic.
You will believe a man can fly.
;)
-
SPIDERMAN!
I\'m not really into Batman, he really doesn\'t have any super powers, just a bunch of gadgets and a nice house.

Agreed. More and more of Bob Kane snuck in, and made it a 60\'s Batman only it did not fit without Adam West. Heck I am suprised Batman did not return to his old ways and only fight crime during the daytime like he did in the 60\'s. :D
The only reason I have not bought the Superman Box set is the fact that past 2 it was horrible, and I don\'t want to buy 1 and 2 without the entire set.
-
I love my Superman box set - but I can\'t bring myself to complete the Batman box set. I am not sure why, maybe it was because of the secert hope of a Batman: SE . :(
