Kids today don’t even know what “die-cast” means. I remember toys like Voltron, Mask, and GIJoe. They were actually made to withstand the torture of kids throwing them down stairs and sticking firecrackers in them. Today’s toys come with more warning stickers on them than they do cool decals. Kids are definitely missing out on the good stuff.

Man, I used to put firecrackers in my old G.I. Joe men. And sometimes just burn them. They always made this putrid black smoke.
And I still have my original die cast metal Voltron, and it\'s in great shape. Much better than those plastic ones they have now.
I didn\'t have much of the M-m-m-Mask stuff, but my little brother had a lot of them. It\'s been awhile since I\'ve talked to anyone who even remembers that cartoon.

Mask was one of those cartoons that had some realy cool cars, trucks and planes. I like the concept of the show and the toys that came out for it. I loved GIJoe the most though. I had the Raven and several other of the larger action vehicles. Those were the day. Voltron rocked by the way. That has got to be one of the coolest action figures around. I wish I had the money to buy those when I was a kid.
