Title: Searching for photoshop plugin
Post by: §ôµÏG®ïñD on January 21, 2003, 09:19:16 PM
I\'m trying to find a plugin for photoshop 6 etc..
I need one that allows me to add lightning too fonts/text to make it look as if it\'s been stuck by it. I have standard lightning ones.. but none of them work well..

Making it a gif will make it too large. I want to keep it under 100k.

I have a billion plugins.  Well, I have 2 discs worth anyway.  Not sure what you mean by light stuck to the font though.

You can create a much more realistic lightning effect by.

First drawing a black and white gradient accross the middle of the image, then putting a Difference Clouds filter on it, then press Ctrl+i to invert the colors. Then press Ctrl+l to bring up the levels dialog, drag the middle slider right until a nice effect appears. Then if you want some color press Ctrl+u and tick the colorize box, drag the sliders around to make some pretty colors. Presto a nice lightning effect.

:)
