Yes, I have some money saved after Christmas and I think it\'s the right moment to purchase one. It isn\'t as cheap as in USA is, but at least I will have the chance to buy a pack with the console, the memory and Mario Sunshine for less than €250. Furthermore, I\'ll also get Starforx Adventures.
Later, I wanna get Zelda and Metroid. But I\'ll have to hope till they are launched in Europe.
Do you think it\'s right? Any suggestion?
-
Nintendo is really screwing Europe with their release schedule, but once all of the games are in place.. I\'d say that GCN has arguably the best exclusive lineup. (despite it being perhaps smaller than PS2\'s)
My suggestion would be to get the \'Cube, get Mario and whatever else you want.. and get the Freeloader.
It\'ll let you boot American games. Until Nintendo straightens their act out, import import import.. :)

Star Fox and Mario Sunshine weren\'t up to either company\'s (Rare and Nintendo respectively) standards, in my opinion.
I\'d say pick up Mario for the sake of Mario, and maybe go out for something a little more substantial for a second choice. If Eternal Darkness is out over there, jump on it.

StarFox got extra good reviews, the graphics and gameplay are excellent. IGN said that it\'s funniest both in history and gameplay that Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of time. I think it\'s a good choice. Anyway I\'ll take a look to the available games in the shop.

You should like Mario Sunshine, it was fun. How much is that price in dollars? I have had a great deal of enjoyment with my NGC.
-
Mario Sunshine is indeed a very funny game, great graphics and excellent gameplay. I just started to get the SUNS :) On the other hand I have to go tomorrow to the store again to change Starfox: the disc is bad, and I can only hear a yelling in the game.

Eiksirf: I think that SMS was up to their standards gameplay-wise.. but SFA is just barely worth buying.
When I play it, I think it\'s mediocre but fun. When I think about playing it, my stomach hurts.. :)

Yea I originally passed it for Animal Crossing, but ended up with the game for Christmas.
I played through it, fearing the worst, and found it to be better than I expected. It did offer a lot of unique elements like the occasional racing level and the Virtua-Cop-reminiscent shooting scenes. But there was only one or two instances where I felt the puzzles were really inspired.
And right away, the collect-a-thon lay out turned me off. At the end of the day, it\'s definitely a good game, I\'m just getting a little tired of collecting four roots to earn my sixth gem that will power my ship to go out and collect the second stone, etc etc.
Still, I don\'t think Adan will be disappointed, it\'s just that there are better titles out there, in my opinion.

First of all, congrats Adan. It really is a good purchase, so enjoy.
On the topic of Starfox, I\'m not entirely sure why, but I really loved that game. Sure, it was a bit short, and a bit easy, and normal collection games really don\'t end up entertaining me much, I thought this game was a joy to play the whole way through. One thing that really did it for me was the music. I really loved the music in the game, and that can really make a huge difference for me.

:) I only played 3 hours to Starfox but this is a MUST HAVE guys. Perhaps the history is the lowest point in this title, but the rest, wow, it\'s impressive. The graphics, the music, the gameplay (much better than Zelda), absolutelly all is awesome. If you have a GC, you must have Starfox. Short? Tell ya later.

Congrats..
I\'ve wanted to buy one too but right now I cant afford it (just bought myself a little Wega to go with my room).
I hope they\'ll lower the price when Metriod Prime comes around.. Maybe then I can get one ;)
