A 58-year-old teacher of 10-year-old children in Austria suffered a heart attack and collapsed next to the blackboard. Her class, thinking it was a joke started laughing.
A colleague, who came to see what all the noise was about, saw the teacher on the floor and called for an ambulance, he then started resuscitation efforts. The teacher was however said to be dead when paramedics arrived.
The young students are said to be traumatised and will be given counseling.

Once one of my friends fainted - for no reason apparently - and I was like \'wtf, get up now\'. I thought he was joking... a stupid joke, but still... you don\'t really realize when something like that happens.

i know what you mean
we had a TV Comedian / magician called Tommy Cooper Who Died live on TV during the Early 80’s (he was a Genius and a living legend during the 70’s and early 80’s)
He was known for his Slapstick Comedy and on this last show he came out from behind the curtain at the start of the show and collapsed.
Everyone thought it was part of the show and burst out laughing…the next thing I can remember is the TV show going off air and a announcement saying later that he Died of a heart attack.
Still Remember it as if it was yesterday
:crying: Tommy your still Sadly missed :crying:
/me smiles as he remembers Tommy Cooper\'s Famous dispiriting and repairing bottle sketch

Not only that, they were only ten years old.

So do I. I still remember his feet sticking through the curtains and the audience laughing. We were all watching it in our house, and we were laughing as well, we thought it was part of the show. I can still see his face. He sort of gave a small grin, than his face went white, then he keeled over.

/me gives racer the thumbs up for provinding OT with a Quality thread.
Congrats buddy
a few more threads like this one and OT will be back to being something special that you want to visit.

I guess at 10 years old the kids wouldn\'t understand what was happening.
As for Tommy Cooper dying on stage I saw that too. That guy was one of the UK\'s best ever performers. His kind can never be replaced.

A typical reaction among 10-year-olds, I believe.

ViVi was the first thing that came in to my head (not to be taken the wrong way!!=]) when i opened the thread actaully...
