Title: Do you remember?
Post by: shockwaves on January 27, 2003, 05:13:24 PM: I was just wondering if anyone here remembers their first post here. I was just talking to another member of the forums on AIM, and discussing this. It\'d be interesting to see how some of the members here entered the boards.

My first post was when I first registered in August 2000. There was a topic of people trying to guess what mm stood for. I came in to say that I knew, but I refused to post what it was. I posted a few times, then stopped posting. I came back last February, and my first post (as well as Jamas\') was here (http://www.psx2central.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=18737).

Fasty was the first person to reply, and he replied in less than 4 minutes. It was the first time I\'d ever logged on to a message board, and his kindness was what made me check in here again. All I wanted was to find out how to disable the lock on the PS2....I had no intention of joining a board.

I used to have one on my HDD when I was at about 30+ and DDaryl was 300+. It was about the PS2 not having texture compression, or something.

Another early one was when I was about 50+, and it was a thread about best signatures, I said mine was, because it was from a Smashing Pumpkin song (Bullet with Butterfly Wings).

Anyhoo, here\'s my first post after the big crash. I was away for sometime, as it was during one of the sites periods of being incredibly crappy. I think it was my first post in months.

My first post was similarly old school. I dropped by and wished Bjorn and mm luck with the site. It was probably the fourth or fifth post on the forum.

Being the PS2-hating-Nintendo-toting fanboy that I was, I took off and didn\'t return until like a year later. After all, I had N64 boards to run. :)

By the time I came back, these boards had really taken off.
