Title: Sly Racoon. Amazing graphics!!

I went to a store today to look for Tetris for GBA, had not been realesed yet so I decided to go. On my way out a demo-PS2 with the game Sly Racoon spinning.
Holy cow, this game looks super in PAL.
Why havent anyone discussed this game? Is it good? I tried it out for 10 min and I was impressed.

A lot of reviewers say that it looks good but that\'s about all.It\'s just another standard platformer(jump on this,collect that) and with the great platform games the ps2 already has(Jak And Daxter,Ratchet and Clank) I personally don\'t see a need for this game.

Unless there is some revolutionary gameplay enhancement, I don\'t plan on buying it.

I have played the demo on the latest OPS2 mag and I agree, it looks amazing. Great cell shaded graphics. It is quite good from what I have seem so far in the demo.

I can get the full version (so I\'m told anyways) at work, just always forget when I\'m there.

But I think platform game fans should get this game, it may not be as good as J&D or R&C but it\'s certainly on the top 5.

I\'ve still got R&C to complete, Sly Cooper  is a  good game but I\'m not willing to splash out £40 on it I\'ll probably get it 2nd hand for £15 when my local Playtime gets it in.

Amazing graphics? They look great except for the massive and I do mean MASSIVE slowdown.

^^ slowdown? i was playing it at the store the other day and i hardly noticed any slowdown.
oh... and the gfx are really impressive too....

The first few levels are not bad. Get to the swamp level and the very last level and you\'ll notice slowdown at all times. I don\'t care if its the least little thing the game almost comes to a halt. Other than that it was a great game.

I passed this game over because there were better releases at the time.  I might get this game when it goes down in price, but for now I\'ve got a couple games on my top 10 list that just simply out do this game.
